COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This medium bodied American style IPA has an alluring golden glow and beautifully blends three strains of hops. While strong citrus notes ambush your taste buds halfway through the palate, the beer finishes very crisp and dry.

Fiddlehead IPA is a very tasty drinkable beer. I have been a fan of Longtrail, Magic Hat, and Harpoon and recently Switchback. This beer is better than all of them. Good people at the brewery, going to be a very successful brewery for years to come.

UPDATED: MAY 24, 2014 On tap at Pizza Stone. Cloudy Golden color with white head. Tropical fruit and piney aromas. Sweet caramel mallt start followed with tropical fruit flavors and finishing with a pine resiny hoppiness. Excellent IPA.

On tap at Pizza Stone a while back. Just found my note, nice and clearly written. Must have been my first beer. Golden with chill haze flat head and lace. Grapefruity hop aroma. Very mild peach apricot sweetness with medium assertive grapefruit rind and spicy bitterness accentuated by effervescent carbo and dry finish. Medium light body. Excellent.

On tap at the Cliff House on top of Stowe Mtn. Awesome time to have this beer. The sun was streamin in through the window of the lodge making the beer glow a hazy golden yellow/orange. White head. Aromas of citrus and pine. Slight dankness. Taste was sweet with a nearly non existent bitterness. Smooth, soft, and refreshing.

Golden IPA. Crisp, smooth, and light bodied. Hoppy with a bit of citrus. A solid IPA.

On tap @ Hotel Vermont. Danky pine with light citrus and floral arrangement. Hops are very nose pleasant with a bitter bite finish. Pours golden with light head and very enjoyable. Can they even make a bad beer in VT?

Another pretty awesome IPA from Vermont. The gold color is almost startling - not used to seeing that. The very abundant citrus aromas and clean finish make this an above average new IPA.

UPDATED: JAN 13, 2015 My Bottom Line :
This crisp, citrusy IPA delivers polished honeyed malts and leafy hop resins for a textbook example of Americana.

Further Personal Perceptions :
-A veil of foam covers the clear golden-amber..
-The finishing bitterness is leveled to the rest of the brew’s medium intensity.
-The body is on the dry side, which is fine by me. Leaves more room for the hops to be showcased and increases drinkability.
-Hop fruitiness is grapefruity and also reminiscent of pink peppercorns at times.
-This may not be the most memorable example, but it is perfectly rendered and flavorful from beginning to end. I would have it often were to live in northern Vermont.

On tap at Farmhouse Tap & Grill, Burlington and at Brewster River Grill & Brewery, in Jeffersonville.
