4.5 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
Fiddlehead IPA is a very tasty drinkable beer. I have been a fan of Longtrail, Magic Hat, and Harpoon and recently Switchback. This beer is better than all of them. Good people at the brewery, going to be a very successful brewery for years to come.

Nice IPA, especially for a new brewery. Not much to add to the other reviews here. Nice hoppy aroma, tastes citrus and piney with a bitter ending. Had it on tap at the Reservoir.

Another pretty awesome IPA from Vermont. The gold color is almost startling - not used to seeing that. The very abundant citrus aromas and clean finish make this an above average new IPA.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
On tap @ Jays Peak in Vermont. Hazy orange body, thin off white head that leaves a delicate web of lace. Aroma is mostly pine with a flash of citrus. The palat delivers oily piney hops on a cushion of lightly sweet malts. Long bitter finish. Surprisingly excellent!

Draft at ProPig. Solid IPA. Poours golden with a finger of tigth white foam. Aromas are tropical with a touch of sweet clean malt and pine. Palate follows the nose with a well balanced easy drinking body. Solid IPA and if this was in Maine it would be a highlight in the local IPA scene !

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
On tap at Three Needs in Burlington VT.
I was surprised to see a beer from a brewery I never heard of on tap and being an IPA I had to sample it. Pours a slightly hazy golden straw color with a nice fluffy white head that sticks lace everywhere. Smells of citrus and pine with a hint of bread. Taste is what the aroma promised but adds a bit of tropical fruit. Medium body and carbonation level with a resinous sticky mouthfeel. Nice inaugural brew from the upstart brewery in Shelburne, I wish them much success.
