3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 jbrus (4990) - Delft, NETHERLANDS - DEC 16, 2006
Cask at the brewpub. Faint aroma, some hops, some malts. Dark yellow color, off-white head, fair lace. Sweet, soft bitterness but well hopped (even some cascade-like floral flavors). Light herbal, hints of caramel. Soft and mild. Maybe a bit too mild for a Bitter Ale.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 3fourths (6408) - Boulder, Colorado, USA - JUN 7, 2006
UPDATED: AUG 8, 2007 Cask glass
Consumed at De Fiddler, Den Haag, May 2006 Amber brown color, white lacing and head. Fresh, lightly hoppy, some sweet pale malts and honey. Mildly bitter in the finish. Simple, but at least fresh tasting.
2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 caesar (3748) - Bunnik/Utrecht, NETHERLANDS - JAN 7, 2006
Tap, Fiddler. Clear reddish color, short lasting head. Amber malt, bit sweet, quite bitter. Watery taste. Decent ale.
2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 14/20 Savad (58) - Den Bosch, NETHERLANDS - AUG 20, 2005
From tap at the brewery’s pub. Dark gold color. Virtually no (English-style) head. Very subtle aroma: grape skins, hop hints. Leaves a very pleasant mouthfeel. Yet, the flavor is plain: moderate bitter, a bit yeasty, very remote fruit notes. Dry and light-to-medium body. Flat and soft. Quite balanced for the style, yet too plain for me.
3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 NoiZe (2325) - Amersfoort, NETHERLANDS - JAN 23, 2005
Nice ale. Black, amber coloured. Nice, for me hard to define aroma. A bit bitterness and yet fruity. Had a pint of this one at the Brouwcafe itself. Nice one!
3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 skortila (4160) - Baarn, NETHERLANDS - JAN 22, 2005
(on tap at the brewpub) Hoppy and malty aroma. Clear, amber-golden coloured with a lasting thin -english style- head. Taste is quite fruity, nice and hoppy. slightly bitter and a bit watery. Good ale.
3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 bierkoning (8109) - La Tropica, NETHERLANDS - NOV 5, 2003
UPDATED: SEP 20, 2006 Slight whisky aroma. Sweetish with some butterscotch. Lacking in bitterness. Very fruity (grapes) and malty. Likeable beer, but lacking in power and bite. Just a bit yeasty aftertaste. (6 3 7 3 12 = 2.9)
New brewer: hoppy flavor with caramel and butterscotch. Buttery mouthfeel. Medium bdoied. Hoppy, flowery aroma. Firm grassy bitter aftertaste. Not bad.
