500 ml can. A small beige head upon a clear, deep copper colored body. Modest aroma of nutty malts and cream-caramel. Whiffs of dark dried fruits. Much of the same in the flavor, with mild bittering hops and some notes of honey and fruity acidity in addition. Dry and acidulous mouthfeel. Light-bodied with short bitterish end.

very good experiment from Spendrups. The lightness though a bit watery and delicious hops with caramel and beautiful dark amber colour: I want more of this.

Bottle. Pours a dark amber colour with a white head. Thin on the nose. Some caramel and bread. Flavour is a bit sweet and malty. Just a hint of bitterness. I did not enjoy this one all that much.

This mix between an ale and a lager has a dark amber color and an OK head. The aroma has notes of caramel and a bit of fruit. The flavour is a bit weak with notes of caramel, light fruit and citrus and the finish is unbalanced with too heavy grapefruit notes. 1920

50cl bottle at Botulfs on August 21, just found it on here today after much searching. Clear copper with a small head. So-so malts with some caramel, and a little hop balance. Nothing exciting, but drinkable, and good compared to the other Spendrups beers Ive had sinse. What I really want to know is where can I get a Spendrups scotch ale? I’m thinking that if you took the Spendrups lager out, you could have a solid beer.

50 cl. can. Pours an amber colour with a short head. Aroma of caramel and toasted malt. The flavour is a bit sweet with caramel, toasted malt and some fuitiness. Toastish finish.

Can, 50 cl. Beatiful clear amber colour, with a fluffy off-white head. Caramelly malt aroma, slightly roasted, with notes of dried fruits, and earthy tones. Ligth to medium bodied, good carbonation. Well balanced, with a dry finish, and an unfortunate metallic aftertaste.

Can. Amber colour with an off-white head. Sweet fruity flavour, slightly metallic. Light fruity flavour, again a metallic note.
