UPDATED: OCT 19, 2014 Bottle bought through Systembolaget. Pours reddish black with a frothy blackish beige head that leaves a small trace on the glass while dissipating. Taste is sweet, bitter and malty with heavily roasted malts, charred wood, vanilla fudge, toffee, moist soil, vanilla hard candy, shredded coconut, roasted hazelnuts, dark roast coffee, liquorice fudge, toffee and hints of alcohol. Mouthfeel is soft, velvety, round, tiny roasted astringent and near full bodied. 4.8 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 19/20
Poured from a bomber into a snifter with love. Very darker brown with tan head that doesn’t stay round.
Aroma is BLISS. Oaky bourbon whiskey with caramel roasted love. Would easily sniff this puppy all day.
Flavor is so smooth. A blend of molasses sweetness. Thick with booze. Roasty and so rich with dark fruits.
Had this one over a year ago rated it 4.5 somewhere else. Now with some age it is slightly close to perfection.
Balanced and so incredibly smooth. Blessed to say we have another bottle to sip on down the road...

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Poured this in a very dark setting so couldn’t detect much color. Looked black with a small semi-dense head. Aromas of coconut, vanilla, wood, chokolate and slightly burned molasses. Really nice. The mouthfeel was surprisingly light and creamy. It did not develop that much as we drank this but it was highly drinkable throughout. The taste was as expected having nosed it; big on coconut, bourbon wood and chokolate. But on the lighter side, never thick or cloying..
