2013 bottle (i think) shared by lithy. Pours a dark brown with a slight tan head. There is an oaky and nutty aroma to it but I really dont pick up much bourbon. Some cocoa and coffee maybe as well. The taste is sweet-ish with some chocolate flavor. Just a little alcohol heat. Really hard to believe these cost so much.

2013 bottle thanks to Chow. Pours a dark brown with small beige head that diminishes quickly. The aroma is roast, chocolate, caramel. Medium mouthfeel with sweet roast and dark chocolate. Very good.

22oz bottle of 2013 vintage. Pours a dark brown color with a bit of brown head. Strong burnt flavors blend in well against the mild bourbon flavor. Interesting liquor taste at the end.

FROTHINGSLOSH (4547) - GREENSBURG, Pennsylvania, USA - MAR 24, 2014
From the March 2014 Pittsburgh Ratebeer gathering. +++ Sampled from a 22 oz brown bottle this beer poured a black color with a large creamy dark tan head that lingered and left decent lacing. The aroma was apple, malt, a bit of coconut and a fusel presence. The flavor was malty chocolate, coconut, vanilla and a touch of apple. Medium length malty chocolate and coconut finish.Moderately full bodied and silky. Solid but disappointing coming on the heels of the grand cru.
