4.6 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
Dark brown, beige foam. Aroma is sweet, velvety, soft roast and vinous dark chocolate. Dark fruits and raisins in steroids. Taste is mind-blowing and full of mixed chocolate, bitter cocoa, barrel booze, bit of oak, spices, dark fruits, salty bacon, liquorice, coffee and so on, so on. Crazy good.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Poured into a wine glass showing pitch black with sparse latte foam.
The nose shows a lot of smoke, oak barrel, notes of latte, and sweet hints of molasses.
The palate is lightly carbonated and full bodied. The first impression shows a lot of buttery popcorn flavor with the same silky buttery mouth feel. Upon the second swig and warming up, a more vanilla forward flavor appears finished with smoked bourbon on the end.

4.5 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
65cl bottle (2014 vintage), served in Snifter. Pours black with nice tan head. Aroma is dark chocolate, biscuit, bourbon, charred oak and dark fruits. Taste is similar, slightly different compared to the Woodford reserve version, which has more vanilla character and less smokiness. The bitter kick is more intense on this one. Creamy mouthfeel, perfect carbonation. The weak point is the price, the rest is awesome.

4.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 19/20
Bottle, 2014 vintage, shared with Parksy, Grippitis, and Faysal. Inky viscous pour with a creamy brown head. Densely flavoured with prominent notes of toasted coconut, malted-milk, coffee, vanilla, bourbon, oak. Incredibly balanced without any booziness. Oh man-- this is one of the better of the series to be certain!

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Appearance: Pours a clouded, milky-toned pale yellow body with a steep, pillowy, white head with quality craft. There’s a brewer’s care in that head.
Taste: Creamy, supple wheat taste, jazzed up with some coriander and a little fruitiness, a little zip from the spruce tips as the tangy lemon juice flecked with a pinch of salt.
Mouthfeel: Light-bodied. Medium-high carbonation.
Overall: Exemplary refreshment! At first, I was hesitant, seeing the spruce tips and fearing they’d detract instead of enhance, though they merely added a welcome light accent without muddying up the underlying beer.
