Bottle at Jack’s farewell, big thanks to Bruce. It pours darkest brown with a small beige head. The nose is toasty, caramel, earth, wood, vanilla, coconut, chocolate and wood. The taste is smooth, roasty, earth, wood, toffee, vanilla, bourbon, coconut, fudge, light bitterness, butterscotch, cocoa and light alcohol warmth with a bitter-sweet finish. Full body, fine carbonation and lightly sticky mouth-feel. Smooth, well-balanced and dangerously drinkable!

Bottle shared at Bruce’s in London during Jack’s farewell tasting. Thanks to Bruce. Pours deep brown with a thick, creamy yellow-beige head. Toasty bread on the nose, some burnt pine, hints of raisins. Medium to big sweet flavor, plenty of dried dark fruits, brown sugar, raisins, plums, mild chocolate, toasty toffee. Full bodied with fine, creamy carbonation. Sweet finish with sturdy offsetting bitter earth, burnt pine, well toasted bread, brown sugar, soft licorice, toffee. Really nice. Quite dynamic.

22 oz. bottle shared by b3shine. Pours a cola brown color with a small beige ring. This one hangs around on the sides of the glass; sticky, viscous. The aroma and flavor has caramel, chocolate, vanilla, spicy rye, wood, some roast and touches of alcohol. Medium plus body, good flavors that work well together.

Bomber To oversized snifter (shared by me with the group; thanks Sean9689). Looks good; cola with off-white lacing. Smells solid; sweet and boozy with notes of cherry and vanilla. Tastes like it smells with some rye too. Nice and smooth on the palate. Good stuff.

Bottle. Poured clear dark brown with a moderate frothy brown head that mostly lasted with fair lacing. Moderate to heavy toasted, woody, vanilla and caramel with a small alcohol aroma. Medium to full body with a smooth texture and flat carbonation. Medium to heavy complex sweet flavor with a medium to heavy sweet finish of moderate to long duration. This is a standout beer.

2012 bottle shared by TheAlum at DLD 2013- thanks again, Adam! This makes a couple BARTs in a couple weeks for me after only having tried the Eclipse series from FiftyFifty. Pours a rich brown color with a beige head. Notes of caramel, vanilla, pecans, chocolate and roasted malts, and some dates. Medium-bodied, with a chewy mouthfeel and low carbonation. Really big and tasty.
