A - Dark brown-black with a finger of frothy khaki-chocolate colored head, Fades down fairly slowly.
S - Chocolate and caramel malts, oak, Bourbon, vanilla, rye, some citrus and pine hops, dark fruits, and some booze.
T - Caramel and chocolate malts, vanilla, oak, Bourbon, spicy rye, citrus and pine hops, resiny hop bitterness, dark fruits, molasses, black licorice, coffee, and some booze.
M - Full bodied with moderate carbonation. Smooth and a touch thick with a sweet and warming finish.
D - Great barrel aged strong ale. Good balance and smoothness.

On tap at Devils Den, dark black pour, thin lace and head. Aromas of bourbon, vanilla, cherry almonds, fruity hops. Taste is fudge, spicy hops, vanilla, and nice malt candy sweetness. Smooth and drinkable for the heavy alcohol.

Sample from a 22 oz bomber at Firestone International Beer Fest. Nose is chocolate, black raisins, vanilla notes, and light bourbon. Black with a small tan head. Flavor is chocolate, light bitterness, and vanilla. finishes with a light alcohol warmth.

Bottle (22 oz). Traded by jp7161, thanks Joe! Dark brown with a small beige head and some lacing. Aroma is heavy and full of malt/caramel along with strong bourbon/whiskey and vanilla. There’s also somes notes of chocolate, roasted malt and dark fruits. Taste is on the sweet site with malt/caramel, bourbon, vanilla and dark fruits. Taste is lighter than aroma but still heavy. Heavy body. Low carbonation. This beer is very complex and multi-layered, it’s a really nice blend that I would drink again anytime!

Bottle generously shared by dschiller @ Woodshed 2.0! Surprised as the style on this one as it shows nearly the amount of fudgy brownie goodness as the Iced Eclipse! Decadent chocolate cake, gooey Hershey’s syrup, and Nestlé Quik! Some mocha found in there also. If you have a sweet tooth but aren’t a fan of tooth decay or overly sweet beers, this ones for you!

Bottle at Watering Hole, Yoyogi. Black - offwhite head. Licorice. Nice malty. Coconut. Fruity. Light sweetness. Nice light barrel. Ok smooth body. Light vanilla. Charcoal. Nice balance.

Chocolaty aroma. A little bit of fresh fruit in the aroma. Moderately hoppy. Nice caramel character.

Bottle. Poured clear dark brown with a moderate frothy brown head that mostly lasted with fair lacing. Moderate to heavy toasted, woody, vanilla and caramel with a small alcohol aroma. Medium to full body with a smooth texture and flat carbonation. Medium to heavy complex sweet flavor with a medium to heavy sweet finish of moderate to long duration. This is a standout beer.
