CA.P.A. is a strong hopped pale ale. Brewed with Citra and Eldorado hops which creates an amazing grapefruit and citrus aroma. This is a great beer for those who want hops without too much bitterness.

Tap at dig beer baR. Solid piney nose with a healthy amount of caramel backing. Copper color. Soft bitter initial / hops intensify in mid, and some unusual wet paper notes hit for a second or so / smooth and bitter finish. Medium body. All good, except for that brief wet cardboard bit in mid palate.

Tap at Dig. Nice fruit nose: stinky mango, tropical, even some durian. Extremely sweaty and funky ass. Deep gold, nearing amber. Soft and fruity flavor, minerals, sweaty fruits, good hop bitterness. Soft and silky. Very bitter. A fun, hop-funky beer reminiscent of over-ripe SE Asian fruits.

Draft at Craft. Pours hazy straw colored with off-white head. Nose is piney hops, grapefruity citrus, pale malt. Tasted of pale malt, with big tropical fruit notes, although this one didn’t "pop" the way many Citra beers do.

Draft at brewpub, amber color. Nose dank hop and malt. Initial grassy and some floral hop. Softer finish. Moderate mid palate finish. Nothing off putting, but they had other more exciting pales on tap that day.

Tap at Craft Hands. Light amber colour, big off-white head. Aroma is citrus hops and slight graininess, lots of grapefruit too. In fact really smells like grapefruit juice. Taste is bit twiggy, nice bitterness, grapefruit again, and more citrus too, orange and lemon. Decent maltiness too. Hints of cat piss but that’s fine by me.

(Draught) clearish amber, fine tan bubbles. Nose of fresh west coast hops, honey, melon, buttercream, rich, caramel. Taste of caramel, fresh citrus zest, cream, medium body, marshmallow, nice sweet linger.

Had on draft at the brewery. Huge hopping character throughout. Big citrusy notes, pine, citrus rind. Not a good balance between the malts and bitterness. Overall a good beer.

Cloudy orange pour with a creamy white. Really nice citrus aroma, grapefruit, tangerine, and orange. Pine and floral hop notes, a slight malt sweetness, and bread. Good fresh citrus flavor, plenty of bread, and light pine. Some light bitterness, toast, and citrus peel. Very standard, clean, and easy to drink pale ale.
