Sampled in a small quantity at brewhouse. I was really surprised by this one. Full of Belgian goodness. Creamy mouthfeel from extra wheat levels. Really well made brew

4 ounce sample on tap at the brewpub. Faint noble spicy hop aroma with some biscuit maltiness, Aroma is quite faint and not overly impressive. Transparent pale straw body with a small white head. Starts sweet with some biscuit/dough malts early on. This becomes astringent and tart later on. Finishes with corn and cardboard hints with light herbal hoppiness and light crackers, too. Note sure what the astringency is all about. Seems disjointed.

Draft @ FiftyFifty. Pours a hazy, golden color; bright white head with good retention and fine-bubbled lacing. Lots of cotton candy, bubblegum, and Belgian yeast character in the nose; surprisingly generous and pleasant, hefeweizen-like. Medium-to-full mouthfeel: dense Belgian sugars and cotton candy esters surrounded by white pepper and light clove presence; nice, lively acidity; again, hefeweizen-like: chewy, estery, dense. Medium finish: toasty malts, Belgian esters, and light pepper. Very impressed by this; lively expression.
