COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The return of an old favorite. Amber colored with a hint of honey sweetness and a touch of Rye spiciness, this beer has an easy drinking character which always lends itself to a second round. The flavor is a moderate malt character with Rye Flakes and Rye malt combining to give a unique spiciness that gives the beer a unique ability to pair with spicier foods and is also a great palette cleanser…so each bit of food is a renewed experience. Intended as a perfect complement to Mexican food, all spicy foods or as a treat after work.

Draught at Capone’s: Faint aroma of malt, honey, and rye. Poured amber in color with a small, creamy, dense, off-white head that diminished but lasted throughout as a film on top of the beer. Clear. Sparkling. Flavor is lightly sweet. Tastes of malt, rye, hops, and a hint of honey. Medium body. Average texture. Average carbonation. Lightly sweet, light to medium bitter, malt, rye, hop finish is lightly dry.

UPDATED: JUL 2, 2012 On draught, pours a cloudy brown, medium white head, thick lacing. Aromas were on the weaker side compared to the taste. Mostly rye, honey, and some spice grains. Taste was rye, dark malts, spiciness in the finish. Not my favorite style but this was easy drinking.
