Bottle from dcshiller, thanks dave! Sweet jesus this was good! Brown pour, brownish head. Sweet chocolate, figs, dates, prunes, dark brown sugar, sweet toffee...just wonderful.

Bottle @ Ratman’s, courtesy of forgetfu. Thanks Bill! Pours a fairly cheat dark brown appearance with a very thin tan head. Mild whiskey, toffee, somewhat herbal, light veggie, chocolate aroma. Rich chocolate, coconut, german chocolate cake, vanilla, a touch fruity, caramel flavor. Flavor is very nice but the aroma leaves something to be desired.

Bottle… This beer rocks!… Mostly-clear dark brown ale with a small, creamy, khaki head. The bouquet is an intermingling of bourbon, caramel, chocolate, and both medium and deeply-roasted malts interwoven and then flanked with whispers of dried plum and vanilla. Full-bodied with busy carbonation. The flavor is a sweet swirl of caramel, toffee, vanilla, bourbon, and oak accompanied by more subdued notes of dark chocolate, bourbon and dried plum. Chewy, caramel finish. There are complexities of imperial stouts, barleywines and bourbon barrels at play here, and they play very nicely together. This world class beer was generously shared by newcigarz!

Bottle at Jack’s farewell tasting, big thanks to Bruce! It pours darkest brown with a small beige head. The nose is roasty, earth, juicy, toast, vanilla, coconut, fudge and toffee. The taste is smooth, roasted malt, coffee, light toast, warming alcohol, fudge, earth, raisin and chocolate with a dry, roasty finish. Full body, fine carbonation and slick mouth-feel. Smooth, well-balanced and very drinkable. Good work!

22oz bottle, thanks to b3shine. Bottle says #146. Also, my first non-Eclipse FiftyFifty beer. Clear dark brown color. Little bubbly khaki head. Lots of dots of lace. Lightly roasty nose, some alcohol warmth evident in the smell. Medium to bigger body. Very light carbonation. Smooth, easy to drink, no lingering viscosity, but not overly dry. 11% alcohol is very well-hidden, no burn or bite, and little to no warmth, even. Moderate bitter taste. Nice dark bitter chocolate, good roast, little coffee, hint of dark fruit. Awesome long bitter roasty aftertaste. Very good.

22 oz. bottle shared by b3shine- thanks again, Beau! Bottle #146. First time I’ve had a FiftyFifty beer outside the Eclipse series. Pours a deep chestnut color with a beige ring for a head. Aroma of caramel, brown sugar, vanilla, oak, dates, figs, and nice bourbon throughout. The flavor is the same, with toffee and chocolate, too. Like pralines. Medium-bodied, with low carbonation and a sticky mouthfeel. Sweet malt and bourbon goodness. I enjoyed this.

Woodshed 2.0. Bomber share courtesy of dschiller. It pours with a murky dark mahogany looking body supporting a thin light tan head of foam. The aroma offers up an initial pulse of sweet molasses and then chocolate brownie that moves into some booziness at the end of the draw. The taste delivers a smooth mix of booze, molasses, chocolate brownie and a pleasing toffee sensation. It gets more and more boozy into the finish. Tasty sipper.

22 oz. bottle shared by b3shine. Pours a dark cola brown color with a thin off white film. The aroma and flavor has roasted malt, dark chocolate, barrel notes, caramel, some earthy bitterness and some booze. The only negative is the medium light body. I would like to see this a bit more full bodied.

Bomber to snifter (shared with the group; thanks tomfoolery). Looks good; cola with thin beige lacing and soft carbonation. Smells good too; sweet and boozy. Tastes Like it smells with a nice, smooth mouthfeel. Great beer!
