Black pour orange hue with light beige head ..... aroma of dry oak, whiskey, semisweet chocolate and vanilla .... taste is interesting chocolate, sugary, vanilla and some spicy grainy whiskey and dry oak .... little boozy version of the eclipse ... good stuff but not my fav or the series

Bomber from Mikkeller webshop. Pours a black/dark brown with a tan head. Complex aroma of bourbon, booze, dark chocolate, vanilla, honey, coffee, plums, raisins and roasted malt. Mouthfeel is so silky and smooth. So well balanced, vanilla, bourbon, dark malts, light and dark chocolate, coffee, roasted malts, honey with a nice bitterness. Carbonation is on the lower side which imo does this beer justice, served it at around 12 degrees but even after it warmed up it was like cozing up to an old friend, didn’t want the bottle to end. So complex flavour but all the flavours marry and are so well balanced, they all play in harmony. Payed a hefty price for this but all worth it.

Clear dark dark brown black color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to beige head. Aroma is heavy malty, chocolate, dark chocolate, alcohol - whisky, moderate roasted, light wood. Flavour is heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, chocolate, whisky, wood, licorice, vanilla. Body is medium to full, texture is creamy, carbonation is flat, finish feel is light moderate alcoholic. Nice ;D [20140425]

65cl, at 9.5%Vol, Vintage 2012 (with beige wax), new exclusive American brew, with honey, from Mikkeller Webshop, very complex Stout, roasted/alcoholic/sweet and slightly fruity/bitter, yet not too heavy, balanced, hazy, small head, very good Winter brew, yet very expensive!

Beige wax seal, 2012 bottle share by AdamJackson. Thanks sucka! Pours with a dark mahogany body fast reseeding mocha head. The nose is chocolate, weak coffee with faint traces of vanilla and sweet bourbon.

Flavor has moderate roasted chocolate malts, dark brownie batter with traces of burnt sugar. Deep dark grain body. The back end of the sip has mellow bourbon vanilla, sweet caramel and light oak barrel. A faint trace of alcohol after the sip to give a light warming sensation as it goes down. Mouthfeel is very smooth texture but the body is medium leaning on thin. Overall, great flavors but is it worth the hefty price tag??

2012 Vintage. Not sure when or where I got this bottle. Split 3 ways with some "so-called" friends.

A - Pitch black pour, 1 finger head

S - Nose is great. Lots of sweetness, tootsie roll, charcoal and a slight tang.

T - Hmm. well, this is incredibly smooth. these guys do great stuff in barrels. oozing with chocolate, ashy fireplace and brick mortar (yes, I eat this every day). charcoal is pretty big time here. and cheese grown from ostrich eggs.

M - Fairly thin mouthfeel. Thin as a crisp hipster sunset in the eve of armageddon. Booze finish. actually, I should say, "summers eve" yeah

O - This is really good.
