2013 vintage. Sweet nose with coffee, chocolate, and vanilla. Bitter coffee taste up front followed by the mellow smooth bourbon sweetness. Sticky syrupy body but also smooth, easy to drink. A great beer but for the price, with Espresso Yeti and Big Bad Baptist available for about a third, I don't see buying this again. It's well worth trying and an excellent beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle @ ZEBF 2015. Nice RIS, with whiskey booze and coffee tones. Could use more depth though, it’s very good, but not one of the best.

Bottle @ Zeebra 2015, small sample. Dark color, short frothy brown head. Aroma of lots of slight spicy coffee, roast, some dark chocolate, slight touch of vanilla. Quite some malty and coffee bitterness in taste, just a little cookie. Ok.

Another brewery that makes some very nice tasting imperial stouts. This one just let me down a bit, because there was less actual taste inside as expected. Still very nice, but misses a small boost for me.

66cl bottle, served in Duvel cup. Black colour with medium beige frothy head, looks perfect as expected. Aroma is simple but very good: coffee, chocolate and cereals. Similar taste of course, but the coffee touch is so delicious, and does not mask the chocolate notes and the hops. The palate is very balanced, one notices the sweetness of the malts with a lingering bitter finish. Full body, good carbonation. Really pleasant...and expensive!

Black, long lasting, tan head. Aroma is lots of coffee, peat, some roasted malts, hints of chocolate, dried fruits. Lots of coffee in the taste aswell, bitter, slightly sweet, cocoa, tar, some alchohol. Long, coffee-bitter finish. Big body, medium carbonation, lean, oily. Really nice coffee stout!

Bottle. Opaque black liquid with small to medium tan head. Aroma of coffee, chocolate, biscuit, bourbon, toast, roasted malt, dried fruit and espresso. Taste is light to medium sweet and light bitter with notes of coffee, raw sugar, toffee, bourbon, chocolate and licorice. Full bodied with low to medium carbonation. Really good, great coffee notes.
