2013 vintage. Sweet nose with coffee, chocolate, and vanilla. Bitter coffee taste up front followed by the mellow smooth bourbon sweetness. Sticky syrupy body but also smooth, easy to drink. A great beer but for the price, with Espresso Yeti and Big Bad Baptist available for about a third, I don't see buying this again. It's well worth trying and an excellent beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

2014 Lavender. Coffee and toast aromas. Drinks like a light stout but has a long cocoa powder and cold brew coffee finish. Super delicious with some more fig and raisin finish once it warms up.

Bottle, lavender pearl wax, Boise imperial stout tasting. Dark brown pour with a modest brown head. Fresh coffee, espresso, roast, and moderate barrel notes. Espresso stands out... super high quality and it shows. Light bourbon barrel influence gives it a nice round and sweet feel to go with the java. Top tier coffee stout.
