2013 vintage. Sweet nose with coffee, chocolate, and vanilla. Bitter coffee taste up front followed by the mellow smooth bourbon sweetness. Sticky syrupy body but also smooth, easy to drink. A great beer but for the price, with Espresso Yeti and Big Bad Baptist available for about a third, I don't see buying this again. It's well worth trying and an excellent beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle @ home, picked up at Argonaut Denver a few months back. Pours a black appearance with a slight thin dark brown head. Aroma is creamy, earthy, chocolatey, and smooth coffee. Medium bodied. Creamy mouth feel. Moderate bitterness and sweetness. Some booze. Flavor is dark chocolate, lots of roast, and earthy coffee. A bit thin bodied. Not as good as some other versions but this is still pretty good. 2013 version.

Pour out of 22 oz bottle, 2013 version big thanks to Aaron for the bottle! Thick black pour with tan head, aroma brought notes of big espresso, roast, chocolate, coffee into some dark fruit, some vanilla, touch of earthy notes. Taste is a mix of dark fruit, coffee, chocolate, roast, hints of big espresso, nice milky lactose notes, finishing fairy sweet, slight bitterness. Very nice.
