2013 vintage. Sweet nose with coffee, chocolate, and vanilla. Bitter coffee taste up front followed by the mellow smooth bourbon sweetness. Sticky syrupy body but also smooth, easy to drink. A great beer but for the price, with Espresso Yeti and Big Bad Baptist available for about a third, I don't see buying this again. It's well worth trying and an excellent beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

22, capped an d waxed. Pours nearly black with a dense creamy dark tan head. Big roasty coffee nose, smells like an earthy, nutty, fresh cup of coffee along with all the great impy notes. Creamy thick body with soft carb. Roasty fresh dark malts and great coffee on the mid palate. Beautifully balanced and cohesive.

Vintage 2013.

Bottle, 2013 vintage, shared with friends. Viscous near black pour, brown head of fine bubbles. Heaps of coffee and chocolate liqueur, quite sweet and heavy. A lot of residual sweetness here, and lacking the complexity of others in the series. Still quite nice.

Pours thick dark coffee with a nice dark caramel head. Aroma bring mocha, caramel, and coffee so creamy, balanced sweetness, and delicious all at the same time. Flavor brings creamy coffee and mocha with great balanced rich coffee bitter and sweet notes, more bitter and so nice.
