Bottle shared by Colin. Smooth and mellow. Not quite as good as the 20, but still one of my favorite treatments. I really dig those those caramel malt, vanilla, oak, and dark roasted malts. Good body and mouthfeel. A very nice imperial stout...

Opened at the end of year Ottawa tasting, 2011 bottle via Capones. Black with a faint light mocha head. Surprisingly smooth, lots of bourbon, oak, vanilla, burnt malt, coffee, chocolate, very nice to drink and glad I could share it with everyone.

Un brownies liquide avec un glaçage à la vanille et des notes de petits fruits. Le corps soyeux et velouté des eclipse y est encore une fois.

Aged for about a year after purchase of the 2011 vintage. So smooth and aromatic. The malted base is delicious and light hops and roasted flavor are intense and well crafted.

Hard not to love everything about this beer. Seriously, this brewery has mastered the art of whiskey-aged stouts. Aroma and taste both have tons of cherry cordial, toffee, dark chocolate, and molasses. Thick and sweet and hard to get out of your mouth. I want to live next door to this brewery!

Bomber; thanks Alex!! Bottle #338 of 2009; dense black pour with trace tan head; huge bourbon nose with creamy coffee, nuts and roast; super boozy right now; spicy hotness with sticky bourbon; some caramel and cookies, but this is way heavy on the barrel to me and not nearly as impressive as when I had on draft at the brewery in August ’09 (hat was the winter ’08 batch); that batch I’d rate near a 4.2, but this one is more like a 3.5, so let’s split the difference :)

2012 bottle split with Pat and Chris. Pours black with thin, lasting mocha head and spotted lace. Nose of vanilla, molasses, chocolate, roasted malt. Really well balanced, medium body, smooth and warming
