Bottle, 22oz, at TFODRBSG 2012. As FiftyFifty 2011 Imperial Eclipse Stout (Elijah Craig 18 Year). An almost black one, topped by a tan head of moderate size. The aroma has some roasted malts, as well as dark chocolate, coffee, some alcohol and a touch of booze. Full-bodied and warming, rather sweet on the palate. Dark chocolate, coffee, roasted malts and some booze. Vanilla hints. Lasting finish with a nice boozyness. Although sweet and boozy, it’s a damn fine beer. 120818
