22oz.bottle. Pours dark brown with a small bubbly tan head. The nose is roast, chocolate, bourbon, oak, vanilla, dark fruits and a splash of molasses with some boozy notes as well. The flavor is roasted, chocolate, bourbon, vanilla, dark fruits and molasses. Some light coffee notes. A touch hot and I would like to see a bit more body to support the flavors.

4.6 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
Bottle courtesy of Anthony. Hands down, beer of the night. Pours a deep black body with thick brown head and nice lacing. Aroma is sweet vanilla, light milk chocolate, soft oak, light molasses and syrup. Mouthfeel is creamy and divine with notes of sweet vanilla, oak, butter, bourbon, marshmallows, chocolate, and a touch of maple syrup. This was one of the creamiest, most indulgent stouts I can remember having in a very long time.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Courtesy of northernbrews
Bottle: The aroma consists of sweet chocolate, vanilla, and the slightest hint of roast. It pours a dark brown with no transparency and small beige head that leaves behind lots of webbing. The flavor starts with some sugary sweet milk chocolate and a touch of molasses . The finish has light-moderate vanilla and light vanilla. It’s medium bodied with mild carbonation. Overall, it’s more sugary sweetness than bourbon barrel aged.

4.3 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
Bottle number 5348. Shared with Amyliz4 and served in a SAVOR wine glass.
Pours near-black with a pretty good light mocha head and a surprisingly-large amount of lacing as it goes down. Thin cap recedes a bit quickly and makes way to a thin collar, which holds throughout. The nose brings bourbon first and foremost, but then has a good dosing of coconut and vanilla. Light oak character. Chocolate there as well.
Flavor has good oak, coconut, and vanilla in addition to the bourbon. Subtle roast and chocolate in the background. Most everything seems to be coming from the barrel and I won’t complain one bit. Full body and chewy with just a bit of booze. Low-medium carbonation. Great complexity. Absolutely exceptional. Boom.
