4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Bottle acquired via an extremely generous trader and shared @ Woodshed 2.0! Midnight pour, onyx really, with a creamy latte head. Bonus points for staining the glass! Brownie batter, chocolate fudge, mocha, dark roasted coffee, and vanilla. Slight bourbon and oak notes as well. Coating and delicious!

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Thanks to Chance for sharing!
The beer is dark brown with very minimal head. The aroma has a big oak presence, even tannic. Roast and chocolate. While the increased abv is well hidden, the beer really runs together with most of the rest of the beers in the series. Bourbon presence is certainly the, but not as bold as I was hoping. Slightly sweet. A bit bland. Low carbonation, almost still. Highly anticipated, this was exciting to try, but not among my favorites of the series.

Again, big thanks to AgentZero for sharing this one. A bit boozy and full of chocolate. Smooth body and easy drinking. Chocolate and booze go well together as it warms.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle share by b3shine. Poured clear dark brown color with an average creamy light brown head that mostly lasted with good lacing. Moderate to heavy toasted chocolate malt, wood with a alcohol aroma. Median to full body with a smooth texture and flat carbonation. Medium to heavy toasted sweet chocolate malt flavor with a heavy bittersweet finish of long duration. This is a standout beer.

Sample from a 22oz bottle with sky blue wax, shared by b3shine. Bottle #20. Dark brown color, translucent in my glass. Little brown head, some small dots of lace. Oak nose. Big vanilla flavor; honey. Awesome woody malty vanilla / honey nose. Big sweet and bitter taste. Big body, but not viscous. Light carbonation. Huge awesome aftertaste, wood, chocolate, roasty flavor that is enjoyable very long after each sip. Awesome one to savor. Really good, super-interesting beer

4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Bottle shared at Woodshop 7. Deathly black with a dark-tan head. Strong and sweet with plenty of chocolate and a blatant honey note in the middle. Finish is actually rather dry and bitter.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 15/20
The pour is black as you can get with a tan head. Nose is quite sweet. Brown sugar, molasses, and a hint of licorice. Dark fruit notes, graham cracker, and some vanilla. There’s a decent roastiness and a little bit of bourbon, too. The flavor is very sweet and sugary. Lots of brown sugar, vanilla, and chocolate. Mild licorice and graham cracker along with bourbon and a hint of oak.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
651mL sky blue wax, signed thanks to BMan1113VR at Woodshop 7. Mega whale thanks to Andrew my main man. Murky deep
brune pour, weak head, thin ring of bubbles along the glass. Nose is wet dog, dark cherries, saltwater, soy sauce. Decants to heavy brown liquor and barrel. Taste is salty and rich with spicy Mexican dark chocolate. Actually dry and bitter through the finish instead of sugary and oily. Black cherries abound. Not too rich...I was expecting this to be an alcohol and sugar bomb. This really didn’t gain much alcohol from eisbocking.
