22oz bottle shared at Kenny’s 20K celebrations @Chriso’s, many thanks to Jan. It pours a dark brown color with a medium beige head. Aroma is sweet grainy and lightly roasty with some biscuit and vanilla. Taste is sweet and lightly boozy with more vanilla and white chocolate. Medium bodied with good carbonation. Overall, not bad

Bottle shared during Kenny’s 20k tasting in London - many thanks to Jan for this one! Pours oily black-brown with a frothy, beige head. Sugary chocolate on the nose, some brown bread, dark fruits. Medium sweet flavour with earthy bitterness, charred malts, baking cocoa, ash. Medium to full bodied with fine carbonation. Sweet finish, with notes of burnt sugars, more bitter earth, dried fruits, chocolate. Tasty stuff, but it almost seemed a little thin. I normally love the FiftyFifty BA impy stouts, but this one was just OK.

Scopey (10658) - Croydon, Greater London, ENGLAND - JAN 17, 2016
Bottle thanks to Jan, shared at Kenny’s 20K tasting. It pours black with a thick tan head. The nose is rich, sweet, bourbon, chocolate, vanilla, light varnish/paint-stripper vibe, cake, mild acidity, coffee grounds and a touch of green vegetables. The taste is rich, slick, roasted maltage, chocolate, wood, toffee, vanilla, fudge, charred stuff, chocolate brioche and warming alcohol through the finish. Full body, fine carbonation and slick mouth-feel. Pretty well-rounded. Rather decent stuff.

Bottle split at Madmitch76 20K tasting, thanks to Jan, batch 2/2013. Pitch black with a decent tan covering. Nose is dark fruit shreds, light roast malt, subtle barrel, chocolate banana loaf, toffee fudge. Taste comprises rich chocolate, light spice, fruit cake, subtle bourbonics, maltesers, toffee sauce. Medium + bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a pinch of boost. Solid BA impy, good balance, light, airy and drinkable.

Bottle share at Kenny’s 20K. Thanks! As ’FiftyFifty Imperial Eclipse Stout - Maker’s Mark Barrel’, 2/2013, grey wax. Black with a decent foamy brown head, thick lacing. Aroma is surprisingly fruity - grape, rosé wine, vanilla, some varnish and wood. Body is medium, smooth, soft carbonation. Taste is chocolatey, tangy varnish, spicy and woody, some coconut. Not bad overall. Maybe a bit harsh in some areas.

Smooth and chocolate brew. Intense and round, fresh and smooth. More chocolate and coffee than wood or bourbon. Malty chocolate in the aftertaste. Easy to drink, fresh, coffee bitter. Nice and round. But not too much woody Bourbon.

Same appearance as any nice ImpStout. Nice vanilla, smoothness, but not as stellar as the other Eclipses so far.
