2007 vintage on tap at the Eclipse release in Truckee. Another fantastic eclipse beer. I don't think I've had a bad one yet. The only drawback was low carbonation. I'm thinking the 6 years in a keg could have contributed to it. Still a great brew. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

2012 bottle. Pours dark, thin khaki head that reduces to a ring. Alcohol, chocolate and bourbon in the nose. Taste is bourbon from beginning to end, a quick flash of cocoa midstream. Bourbon lingers in the palate. Body is big but super creamy. Loving these eclipse beers. I think I just need to search out a varrients and be done with it.

Vintage 1/2012.

Bomber bottle, vintage 2012. Near black with tan head. Aroma faint; coffee, whiskey, alcohol and chocolate. Taste is smooth, velvety, mild honey notes, alcohol, mild and pleasant whiskey notes. One of my favorite Eclipses!

Bottle at 7 Eclipse tasting. Pours an opaque black with almost no head. Sweet with aromas of lightly toasted malts and dried dark fruits. Tiny hints of tobacco and bonfire and some alcohol. Full bodied. Soft carbonation. Dry finish.
