COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Fifty Fifty’s first lager, pronounced "Luntbier", is not a style, but an approach to a simple, everyday beer. It is deep gold in color and slightly hazy. Unlike our ales, this beer is distinctly crisp and lacks the fruitiness common with ale fermentation. On the palate it starts with a malt sweetness and then finishes with a slight hop character. Overall clean and refreshing!

Growler from the brewery. Dark gold with good clarity and a small white head. Herbal hops and some bready malt in the aroma. Bready and sweet with and herbal and planty finish. Medium-light body and lightly carbonated. The finish seemed a bit odd, and wasn’t the super clean balance of the blond. A good first lager outing, but I can see a lot of room to refine this.
