Dark amber pour with an off-white head. Citrus peel, pine, grapefruit, and sweet malt. Nice toffee and toasted bread, grass, and some floral hop notes. Nice light bitterness to go with the malt and toffee, sweetness, and bread. Good grapefruit, pine, and plenty of floral hops. Light tangerine and grass notes, too.

Draft at Monks. Hazy orange brown pour. Burned malt flavors with high hop bitterness. Approximates a black IPA. Lots of citrus pith. Medium body. Not bad but not exciting.

On tap at Capones, pours a clearish amber. Medium head/lacing. Notes were very hoppy in the aromas taste was a good bit of malts and hops, fruit, sugar, pine. Kind of bland for me.

Draught at Capone’s: Aroma is sweet and hoppy with notes of hops, citrus, hop oil, and some more juicy hops. Poured deep amber/brown in color with a tiny, off-white head that disappeared except for around the edges. Cloudy. Not sparkling. Full of small-sized particles throughout. Flavor is medium sweet and medium bitter. Tastes of hops, malt, resin, citrus, slight fruit, and some light sugars. Medium body. Oily, slick, creamy, texture. Soft carbonation. Medium sweet, medium bitter, malt, hop, hop oil, pine, resin finish. 8.7%ABV is completely hidden throughout.

Tap at Capones. Reddish orange pour with a small soapy head. Pine resin and mild citrus hop elements. Super good.

On draft at Capones. Pours a deep reddish caramel color with a medium sized off white head. Resembles unfiltered apple cider. Aroma of pine, sweet malt and bitter hops. Taste of bitter hops, sweet malt and pine.

(Draught) Pours a dark reddish brown body with a medium cream head. Aroma of caramel, citrus, and roasted malt. Flavor of roasted malt, citrus, florals, pine, and caramel.

Super hoppy aroma. Amber-brown with an off-white head. Hop-dominated, the bitterness that just lingers on the palate.
