Tap @ brewery. Cloudy, honey body topped with a beefy, foamy head that coats the glass and lasts. Bright, citrus and fruity hop nose, some rye...actually. mouth is medium-full and foamy, dry finish. Flavor is lightly sweet up front followed by a lot of hops, strong, long finish rye and citrusy hops, pine grapefruit rind. big and bitter and a little harsh...its good stuff.

more bitter and dryer than either their pale or their ipa. good body, generous hopping. less balanced than either of the aforementioned beers but quite tasty."

On tap at the brewery in Truckee. Dark orange pour with a thin off-white head. Aroma is slight rye spiciness, dank hops, pine resin. Interesting take on a rye IPA, but everything is a little to far on the subtle side.

Danker hops than the Rockslide and darker amber. Much less citrus notes, but the rye is very subtle, too much so for me. Good beer but not a great rye IPA.

On tap at Hops and Pie poured a clear amber with a small lingering amber head. Aromas of rye, earthiness, pine and grapefruit. Palate was medium bodied and smooth with a dry finish. Flavors of rye, orange zest, pink grapefruit and light pine with a smooth dry bitter lingering rye finish.

Tap @ Hops and Pies Denver during FiftyFifty tap takeover. Pours a cloudy orange appearance with an off white head. Pretty intense piney, chewy citrus hoppy, fairly spicy rye aroma. More rye spiciness in the flavor is balanced by a nice grapefruit citrusiness. The rye isn’t overpowering but is a nice addition. Pretty tasty Rye IPA.

On draft at Capones. Pours a deep brownish orange color with a medium sized white head. Aroma of fresh grapefruit, orange peel, rye malt and west coast hopa. Taste is much the same as the aroma. Crisp, slughtly bitter yet refreshing.

On tap at Capone’s. Poured an amber color with a smaller sized off white head. Citrus, some lighter bread / rye, and floral. Rye was present, but overall this beer was on the thinner side and would have like a bigger rye and hoppiness.

Draught at Capone’s: Aroma of hops, citrus, grapefruit, and a hint of rye.
Poured amber/orange in color with a small, creamy, dense, white head that greatly diminished but lasted throughout as a film on top of the beer. Hazy. Slightly sparkling. Flavor is light to medium sweet and medium to heavily bitter. Tastes of hops, citrus, grapefruit, pine, and resin. Medium body. Tingly, then sticky texture. Average carbonation. Hop, citrus, grapefruit, pine, resin finish is medium to heavily bitter and dry.
