3.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Tap at the brewpub. Pours translucent gold with a white head. Aroma is banana, bready and a hint yeasty. Flavor is similar to aroma, but there’s a pervading slightly sweet fruitiness, and a yeast spice - clove? Finishes towards dry, seems to loosely fit the style, and enough bitter to please me. Good!

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
On tap @ FiftyFifty. Mostly clear golden straw colored pour with a white head. Lots of spicy nutmeg and coriander on the nose. Big banana and pear notes as well. Decent malt and a bunch of sugar. Quite sweet tasting. Tons of fruit and sugar. Particularly big on pear and banana. Mild bubblegum. Very sweet. Eh.

3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
"ok. not quite what i expected...the honey is different (but good) and the yeasty notes reminded me of a dubble. maybe this one’s a 2 1/2 instead of a tripple. pretty good, but nothing spectacular. not worth the crappy service to visit, though. 5-10...trifecta in the bottle must be different. don’t taste any honey and 9.99 for it was way overpriced as it was the weakest (and most expensive) belgian of the night."

On tap at Blue Palms (labeled at 11%). Pours with a very muddy and unappealing dull yellow body with minimal head (didn’t transport well?). Looks like a mimosa. Aromas are very yeasty, grassy, apple, grainy, mild phenol and florals. Some alcohol. Flavors are grassy, yeasty, grainy. Medium esters, orange marmalade and a bit of 4VG. Low carbonation with some alcohol. A bit oily on the palate.
