Hazy orange pour with a white head. The aroma has some nice honey and fig notes as well as some biscuit malt and yeast. The flavor is similar. I get some really nice sweet honey notes as well as some fig, oak and red-wine character. There is also some biscuit malt and Belgian yeast notes. The fruit adds just the slightest hint of tartness. Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation. Very nice saison. Really glad I got to try it.

Pours a hazy ochre color with a couple fingers of eggshell foam. Nose is subtle but rich in malt, honey sweetness and a touch of yeast spice and barrel must. Palate is focused with some round fig sweetness working well with the malts and its lightened with a dose of tiny bubbles on the mouthfeel. Barrel character is apparent yet restrained, traces of vinous grape and spicy oak. Would have loved to see it a bit drier with a little more of a yeast profile but overall a rather enjoyable offering ! Thanks JB for grabbing me one.

10oz draft pour at the brewery on release day 10/5. Pours semi clear golden yellow. Nose is oak, red wine, spicy notes, hay, honey notes. Taste is spicy oak, wine, grapes, barrel notes, fig. Finish is subdued bitterness, sweet honey notes, barrel, hint of booze, light funk. Nice.
