Amber pour with a white head. Toasted malt and bread on the nose. A slight sugar note, some sweet, fruity esters, mostly apple. A light floral note and some yeast. Bomber from Hi-Time. Pours deep ruddy copper with a slight head. Mild malt aroma. Med body. Flavor is sort of like a dilute brown ale. It even seems to be a little nutty. But there’s not a lot going on here.

Bottle. Clear amber-copper hued body with a medium sized off-white head with decent retention. Aromas are of mild fruity esters, toasted, nutty, walnut, strong caramel and toffee. Lightly earthy hop character. Low diacetyl (very mild). Flavors are sweet, malty, nutty, caramel. Slight tannic quality. Medium bitterness that comes across a bit sharp. Neutral balance. Despite the sweetness up front the finish is decently dry . Fuller carbonation with a medium body.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
12oz bottle pours with a clear deep copper body that has gold edges and supports a dirty white head of foam. The modest aroma offers up a bit of roasted malts, a slight spice note and sweet lagery fruity esters. The taste has a pleasing mix of roasted malts, lagery fruity esters and some vague modest bitter hoppiness. To midway and into the finish the lager yeast notes ride you into the after taste on a thin bed of fruity esters. Tasty Lager.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle; poured a dark orange/amber color with a khaki head. Aroma of fruits, earth, some sweetness, caramel and cookies. Flavor had a solid sessionable quality. Fruity and bready throughout, a touch of sweetness and earth. Nothing remarkable, but enjoyable enough.
