A very nice easy drinking beer that is great for any time. Not too light and fruity, not heavy and filling. A smooth glass of pure satisfying flavor.

Read some of the previous descriptions and surprised to see how many people don’t know this style of beer. I am at a beer pairing now and the Cicerone described the Vienna Style lager perfectly. Malty, slightly breaded, with a slight roast. This beer is not supposed to be complex. I was impressed.

Poured from a bomber a Stonehouse. First time trying a Vienna Lager. I liked the sweetness of it and the touch of sourness.

12oz bottle pours with a clear deep copper body that has gold edges and supports a dirty white head of foam. The modest aroma offers up a bit of roasted malts, a slight spice note and sweet lagery fruity esters. The taste has a pleasing mix of roasted malts, lagery fruity esters and some vague modest bitter hoppiness. To midway and into the finish the lager yeast notes ride you into the after taste on a thin bed of fruity esters. Tasty Lager.

Pour on tap at the brewery, clear red pour with white head, aroma brought notes of caramel, biscuit, some red fruit into a bit of nice noble hop notes, some vanilla and cracker, touch of grass. Taste is a mix of caramel, biscuit, and toasted bread into some noble hop spice, floral notes into some vanilla, touch of grain, finishing slightly dry, bitter.

Bottle at Capitol Beer & Tap Room. Pours reddish copper with a nice off-white head and a fruity aroma. There is a medium-bodied sweet smoked flavor with a dry finish.

Draft. Aromas of hot caramel and maybe a bit of apple. Flavors are lits of caramel, a touch of grass and then a quick, hoppy, biscuity finish. Beautifully done.

Draught at the brewery. Very clean with light roasted caramel and toffee malt flavors. Mildly sweet and light on hops. Easy drinking and malty on the whole. Pretty straightforward but good.

Amber pour with a white head. Toasted malt and bread on the nose. A slight sugar note, some sweet, fruity esters, mostly apple. A light floral note and some yeast. The flavor has a light grassiness, but is nice otherwise. Sweet bread, toast, toffee, and sugar. Floral hops, minimal bitterness, fruit esters and yeast.
