Bomber. Darker brown pour with a froth of tan foam. Aroma is even, dry roasted malt, nuts, and minimal sweet malt into the finish. Taste is semi-heavy roasted malt with a strong nut flavor, slight coffee-type roast, and a nice hop bitterness into the finish. Mouthfeel is even and light. Nice brown ale and one of the better beers I’ve had from this brewery.

Nutty brown color with 1-2 fingers of tan head. Average lacing on the sides, wet and foamy. Better retention.
Smelled chocolate, Cascade hops, caramel, toffee and lots of bitterness.
Tasted dark chocolate, regular chocolate, toffee and caramel, backed my Cascade hops.
Medium body. Creamy texture. Above average carbonation. Long, smooth finish.
A pretty good debut (for me) by Figueroa. I love the brown ale and hoppy mixes. Try it.

Deep chestnut and mahogany pour with a small eggshell head that left very little in terms of lacing. Aroma is muted. Roasted malt, nuttiness, and a hint of caramel. Flavor is so much better than its nose. Cocoa, light coffee notes, almond and cashew, char, and vanilla. Moderate mouthfeel and mild alcohol...easy drinkin’. Solid.
