Hurricane Deck IPA is an aggressive IPA designed with hopheads in mind. We blend four hops, Columbus, Centennial, Chinook and Cascade, to recreate the ruggedness and intensity of the Trail. The higher alcohol content and skillful use of specialty malts emphasize the clean, crisp hop character.

Sampled on tap at city beer. A nice fully bodied hop ale. Quality brew with a crisp palate. Hop blend is crisp and lingers on the tongue.

Clear copper with a creamy off-white head. Lots of hop. Resin, floral, ci9trus. Med body. Flavor is very hoppy. Citrus, resin and I think floral. Itís bitter as all get out. Oh, thereís some light roast caramel backbone. But if you donít look for it, it may not stand up. This finishes NW dry and bitter, but not quite so harsh as many. Extremely nice!

Draft at Downtown Johnny Brownís - Dan Diego. Pours lightly hazy amber with a frothy white head. Lots of dusty pine in the nose, some dry caramel, toast, grass. Medium sweet flavour with plenty of dried pine, earth, dry and toasty bread. Medium to full bodied with average carbonation. Lightly resinous and warming to finish with more pine, dry bread, dry caramel. Lingering dusty pine. Standard big and piney DIPA.

this pours a darker copper with a large light tan head. This beer is more malty then hoppy. It is sweet and malty with a light hops flavor. There is a light bitter after taste.

A decent IPA, although a tiny bit too bitter for my taste. Nice, subtle aromas of tropical fruit and pine. My one criticism is that it was just slightly bitter enough that the aromas were impeded. Beautiful deep amber color, quite dark. An oily mouth-feel makes it feel substantial. Overall quite good, definitely on the strong side.

On tap at Burger. Nearly amber pour. Piney, citrus aroma and palate... With a nice undertone if sweet malt. Balanced with nice bitterness. Solid. Would drink again. --- tasted while on a long journey to understand the world around me...

Deep orange with a very nice foam. Big Pacific Northwest IPA aroma is balanced nicely with a sweet caramel base. I canít say that any specific variety or single flavor draws me into this beer. Itís just nice.

Bottle from World Market. The nose is hopped and somewhat piney. Not super hoppy for a double. A little sweetness with a bit fair amount of hop flavor. Pretty malty for the style.

Bottle thanks to docjitsu. Pours a clear reddish orange color with a huge fluffy white head that looks like whipped egg whites. The aroma is of slight fruity hops. Subdued for a DIPA. The taste is malty to start but quickly finishes bitter. Refreshing mouth feel.
