Pours golden and very clear, with a long lasting rocky off white head. Big nose full of US hops: citrus, pine, grassy herbs, with a sweet malt presence. Flavor is more of the same: strong malt backbone, lots of citrusy hop flavor, with a mellow bitterness at the finish. Delayed alcohol warmth hints at the strength. Very drinkable for being so big.

Bottle to tulip. Aromas predominate resin, tropical fruit and wheat. Slight bubblegum and a little horsey. Clear, golden yellow with full white head. Taste has some sourness to it. Perfume and a little pine. The sour is nice...intentional?? Finishes moderately dry. Alcohol warmth present.

Bottle shared by alexsdad06. Poured clear brass color with an average to large frothy white head that mostly lasted with excellent lacing. Moderate to heavy hop and toasted earthy aroma. Medium to heavy pepper sweet flavor with a medium to heavy bittersweet finish of moderate to long duration. Medium to full body with a slick texture and soft carbonation. Solid brew.

22 oz. bottle shared with the group. Pours a clear golden color with a small off white head. The aroma and flavor have citrus, resin, some grassy hops, some dank character, toasted bready malts, some sweetness, the bitterness is mild to moderate, I thought this was pretty good but presented as an IPA, not an imperial IPA. Easy to drink, I hoped for more things to pop.

22oz bottle, thanks to tmoney99 for sharing. Clear golden, slight orange color. Thin white head. Ropes and bits of lace. Medium to bigger body. Smooth, kind of slick, light carbonation. Good resiny citrusy hop. Piney. Moderate bitter taste, moderate-plus sweet. Light resiny buzzing heat on the finish. Touch of biscuit / butter. Solid DIPA -- just a bit of lingering sweetness in the finish, mild astringency, but enjoyable overall. Pleasantly hoppy.

Barreras (1180) - Diamond Bar, California, USA - MAR 31, 2015
Pours a golden yellow with a sweet malt aroma. A slight floral flavor with a sweet malty taste. Good drinkability especially for the style. Easy bitterness in the aftertaste with notes of sugar coating the palate after the swallow.

Tap pour@Braukunst Live í15 - SA, danke either motelpogo or oldmanriver... Looks rather weak and runny, than hits the nose with condensed leafy exotics, sweet lime, mango peel, pineapple syrup. Curbed in taste by a very slender body, making it dangerously drinkable at +9%, and resinous grapefruit zest concentrations, getting dank and catty in the later end.
