Bomber from Capitol Beer in Sacramento, CA. Pours gold with a foamy white head. Aroma is heavy towards light malt. Mild perfumy grass for hop. Med body. And now we’re cooking. It goes bready/grassy/spicy, then falls a bit towards grainy. Still, it’s much more pils than pale lager. Maybe a German rather than Czech pils. Could be hoppier, but that’s me. Certainly drinkable. Lightly bitter finish.

Pour on tap at the brewery, clear yellow pour with white head, aroma brought notes of biscuit, bread, nice vanilla, grass, herbs, hints of grain, slight honey in there. Taste is a nice mix of honey, vanilla, touch of bread, biscuit, touch of grass into some herbal and floral notes, finishing bitter.

Draft. Nose of wet grass. Flavors of sweet biscuit and a touch of honey? Finish with some citrus. Under hopped compared to the best American takes on the style.

Pours a pale yellow with a white head. Grass, grain and floral aroma. Grass, grain, floral, light hop and malt flavored. Light body and good carbonation. Floral and grassy hop finish.

Sampled on 3/19/2014. This pilsner pours a light to medium gold color from a 22oz bottle. Small to medium sized white foamy head. The aroma is wheaty, cereal and spicy. A medium to light bodied pilsner. The malts are cereal and wheat. The hops are earthy and spicy. Decent carbonation. Crisp and clean tasting, with a hint of residual sweetness at the finish. A decent very drinkable pilsner. A touch sweet and I wish is had a little more of that pilsner spiciness. Mouthfeel is full. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly sweet.

Decent beer. Doesn’t do anything great, but it’s definitely a worthwhile beer. Very light buttery taste and decebt hop profile with light citrus notes and a good twang at the end.

26 July 2013, tap at Figueroa Mtn. Brewery. Yellow, clear, no bubbles. Nose is slightly sweet straw. Thin body and mildly fizzy. Straw and pils hops. Slightly sweet and not very bitter. Ok. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Nothing to write home about, at the brewery in Santa Barbara with my girl, average light pils

On tap at FWIBF. Pours a clear, Coors, yellow. Aroma is corn and straw. Taste is a mix of corn, straw and some lemon pledge canned dust spray. The straw and chemical doesn’t really work here.
