3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Allow me to begin by offering a disclaimer. This beer is not one that I would choose to drink. However, Iím making my best effort to be fair in making an objective rating. While the aroma and flavor arenít ones that appeal to me, the quality and craftsmanship of the beer certainly show through. It pours a clear amber-golden color with a white head that familiarly sits atop many of Fig Mtnís brews. Thereís an apricot nose with grassy notes to follow. Mouthfeel is wet and thin, but pleasant and complimentary to the beer. Apricot flavor that is reminiscent of a Magic Hat #9 only much subtler and with extraordinarily more quality. It finishes quickly and cleanly making it a very drinkable beer.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
A nice dark-orange pour with a white head. Opens up with floral hops and followed by a grainy sweetness. Some toasted malt, and a bit of fruit ester, particularly peach. Thereís a nice bready malt character and sweetness. Very light bitterness, some toasted malt, and grain. Thereís a primarily floral hop character, but a bit of earth as well.
