COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Hand picked - imported - specialty malts, and a yeast strain from the Brasserie de Rochefort gives this Belgian-style strong ale aromas of dried stone fruit, raisins and dates atop caramel and toffee. Rich and malty-sweet but with a dry, warming finish.

Bottle. Pours with a clear bronze hued body with a minimal off-white head. Aromas are strongly estery with dark fruits, prunes, dates, figs, honey florals, medium toasted malt. Sweet, deep esters, some alcohol. Flavors are very sweet and toasted, plums, figs and black cherry esters. Medium malt presence. Boozy. Warming, not dry at all. Lasting fig and plum on the palate. Medium bodied.

Type: Draft Glass: 0.25L glass From: Blind Lady Ale House in Normal Heights (San Diego), Calif. Price: $6.00 Purchased: April 4, 2013 Consumed: April 4, 2013 Misc.: N/A Poured a dark mahogany, reddish brown color with three fingers of khaki brown head. Uneven, but layered foamy lacing on the sides. Decent retention all the way down. Smelled dark cherries, plum, dates, figs, caramel and toffee. Tasted plum, dates, figs, toffee, slight black cherries, purple grapes and caramel. Alcohol was well hidden. Medium body. Creamy texture. Average carbonation. Warming, smooth finish. Definitely the best part of the beer. Another good beer by Figueroa Mountain Brewing Company. I’d love to try this in a 22-oz. bomber.

Pours a clear golden copper with a barely there, very light tan head. Sweet, spicy apple cider and green apple and green grape on the nose. Mouthfeel is exceptionally smooth with a medium body. Some ripe red apple with a bit of spice, but without being offensive. Very unassuming push and pull battle between sweet and tart. Some caramel emerges late. Quite good.

Wow. What did I just taste! Incredible aroma - bubble gum and cherry soda. Flavor is so smooth and delicious. Clean crisp light with subtle fruit. There is no way this is over 10% - dangerously easy drinking. I can't wait to find this again - I'd drive all the way to the source in Buellton if I had to. Really amazing brew. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Dark amber pour with an off-white head. Dark fruit, toasted malt, and brown sugar aromas up front. some bubblegum, a hint of banana, caramel, and a light spice note. Nice sweet flavor of caramel, brown sugar, raisins, banana, and bubblegum. A bit of yeast, light spice, toast, chocolate, and a hint of roast.

Bomber from Bine & Vine. Pours darkly ruddy with a creamy beige hed. Aroma of medium dark fruits, raisins, treacle, and arguably caramel. My nose just died and went to heaven. This aroma could substitute for crystal meth. Whoaaa. Definitely full bodied. Flavor pretty well matches the aroma. It’s thick. Dark fruit and treacle. Yet it does finish dryish. Heat? Well, yeah, but with all this flavor who can notice the heat. TF ale is this? Brilliant!
