COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Hand picked - imported - specialty malts, and a yeast strain from the Brasserie de Rochefort gives this Belgian-style strong ale aromas of dried stone fruit, raisins and dates atop caramel and toffee. Rich and malty-sweet but with a dry, warming finish.

[5647-20130816] Bottle. Mild roasted barrel grains aroma. Clear, dark brown body with a quick bubbly light tan head. Boozy barrel toasted malt flavour. Medium-full body. Bit of a kick to it. (7/3/7/3/13) 3.3

Bomber from Pauls Liqours, Cayucos. Nose is toffee, raisin pie, and a boozy yeast note. Clear amber brown with a medium lightly lacing cream head. Flavor is lightly sweet, light alcohol warmth, and dark fruits. Not worth the money I had to pay for this wax sealed anniversary ale.

Bottle. Clear reddish amber with a short lived fizzy head. Sweet molasses and dark fruit aroma. Thick oily palate. Tastes of dates, raisins, chocolate biscuit, plum and caramel. Nice complexity.

Bottle. Clear darker brown pour with a scattering of tan foam. Sweet raisin, molasses, toffee, candied sugar, and light alcohol vapors in the aroma. Taste is very sweet with candied sugar, raisin, fig, and a pleasant bitterness intermixed with alcohol heat through the finish. Slightly coating mouthfeel. Okay and if you take the price into consideration this was a very poor buy.

This dark orange hued anniversary beer has a nice Belgian strong ale aroma but the taste goes downhill from there. Very sweet and caramely. Makes me glad I got a sample and not a full pour. Too viscous as well.

Bottle. Pours with a clear bronze hued body with a minimal off-white head. Aromas are strongly estery with dark fruits, prunes, dates, figs, honey florals, medium toasted malt. Sweet, deep esters, some alcohol. Flavors are very sweet and toasted, plums, figs and black cherry esters. Medium malt presence. Boozy. Warming, not dry at all. Lasting fig and plum on the palate. Medium bodied.
