Bottle. Poured hazy golden color with an average frothy white head that was lasting with good lacing. Moderate yeast, malt, floral aroma. Medium body with a smooth texture and soft carbonation. Medium sweet flavor with a medium sweet finish of moderate duration. Soft beer.

22 oz bottle shared by Tmoney99. Pours a slightly hazy dark golden color with a small off white head. The aroma and flavor have some fruit yeast, pilsner like malts and hops, grass, finish is soft, mild to moderate bitterness, very average stuff at best.

Prufrockstar (1130) - Seattle, Washington, USA - NOV 24, 2014
Bottle shared by Matt -- from notes. Murky tamarind pour; aroma = straight pickle juice. Also apples, toast, pepper ... and pickles. Always pickles. So many damned pickles. Taste: sweet, pickles, toast, some spice ... Malt forward, really can’t imagine this as a saison. Sweaty faded hops. Herbal. Not good.

On tap @ Beer Camp - Chicago. Pour is murky orange with a small white head. Aroma and flavor of heavy yeast, spice, and biscuit malt. Slight alcohol in the finish.

Tap at the brewpub. Dull orange pour with no head. Coriander in this, and it’s pretty sweet. Just okay for me.

Dominated by Belgian spice...not much farmhouse character to speak of. Maybe personal pref, but give me something with some barnyard any day.

Decent saison, light spice, good carbonation and just a bit of farmhouse funk. Dry finish, goes down easy. Nothing special, but pretty good, worth a shot.

ben4321 (4092) - Hoboken, New Jersey, USA - JAN 26, 2013
Location: Bottle at Nerd Beer Epic Weekend, 1/26/13

Aroma: The aroma is heavy yeasty, with plenty of spice/coriander, and some citrus
Appearance: It pours a cloudy darkish orange color with a small head and some light lace
Flavor: This one has a solid Saison flavor, with lots of Belgian yeast and spice flavor to it
Palate: The body is medium, it has a clean feel, a ton of carbonation, and a fairly dry finish
Overall Impression:  I thought this was a pretty solid Saison. It is probably not a top of style Saison, but it is quite good. I liked it. The best way I can describe this is clean, drinkable, and fairly fresh feeling.
