COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A blend of six grains, amarillo, centennial and williamette hops. An upfront bitterness that balances through to the end with a light citrus nose on top.

Tap: Hazy golden hue with small but lasting head, okay lace. The aroma has notes of resiny piney hops, grapefruit and tangerine esters, bready and toffee malts, hint of dusty yeast esters. The taste is well balanced between the hop bitterness and malty sweetness, finishes mostly clean and shows minimal alcohol. A bit of chalky character on the aftertaste. The mouth feel is medium to full-bodied with lively carbonation, slightly sticky, alcohol well hidden. Overall a very solid offering and one I would like to try again.

Maybe a little more malt, but close to a double IPA, amber color, slightly cloudy modest head but great tatse and some licorice

Pretty good. A nice hoppy aroma and flavor which is balanced quite nicely with the malts. A good beer and one of the better I had at Figure Eight.

Appearance: Pours a cloudy amber gold with a decent white cap of cream atop. Aroma: Fruit and caramel. Taste: Butterscotch, caramel, citrus hops with an earthy finish. Mouthfeel: Full bodied with modest creamy carbonation. Oveerall: Alcohol was well hidden, needs to be far more bitter.

Draft sample. Poured clear dark copper color with an average creamy off-white head that was mostly lasting with good lacing. Moderate earth, citrus hop and toasted malt aroma. Medium body with smooth texture and soft carbonation. Medium smooth earthy bittersweet flavor with a medium bittersweet finish of moderate duration. This is a very good beer.
