Tap at Back Road Autumn Fest: Deep brown with beige head and spotty lace The aroma has notes of roast, toast, oats, chocolate, coffee, prune, with herbal, grassy and even a tad minty EKG hop esters. The taste has a really nice malty profile balanced by twangy dark fruits, coffee like bitterness, and even handed hops. Some chocolate and oat add to the palate and also creates a smooth and medium-bodied mouth feel. Clean and sessionable, this is a very good stout, that is simple and to the point but is also very well done.

Chocolate and roasted coffee aroma, this ale pours beautifully and retains a thin tan head. There is a slight sweetness on the tongue, with a soft creamy mouth feel, and a slight bitter snap on the finish. I hope this is brewed again.

Very mild. Roasted malts and coffee aroma and flavor. Light body. Nothing overly potent but still has a solid flavor.
