COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Pale and victory malts with an overbundance of centennial and cascade hops. A dry malt backbone with a hint of toast, pine and floral aromatics. A summer sessionable brew for hopheads.

Picked this up last spring, nearly forgot about it at the bottom of my beer/wine cellar. Not a hop monster, but it is extremely smooth and well balanced. Wish I had picked up more than one bottle on my Midwest trip.

Golden-amber beer with a honey-caramel and piney-hop nose. A full, crisp bitterness is balanced by residual honey-like sweetness. Could be drier, I think, but I’m glad this beer exists. May there continue to be more like it.

Fairly clear golden orange color with big, frothy, white head. Lots of pillowy lacing. Aromas of hay, cereal, and some floral notes. Taste is lightly sweet and lightly bitter. Dry finish. Overall, a pretty nice session beer. Not real hoppy, but enough to enjoy.

This beer is pretty good. A downfall is that I had it as a sample along with all their other beers. Relatively, this beer is very mild compare to some of their other hoppy beers. Pretty good but better alone.

Tap: Clean golden hue with a lasting frothy head and solid lace upon the pint glass. The aroma has notes of grapefruit and melon esters, slight resiny and herbal hops, bready pale malts, a hint of pepper and clove, some soapy vapours. The taste is rather straight forward moderate hop bitterness and fruity acidity over a layer of base grains. A light hop spice kick towards the finish. The mouth feel is clean and vibrant with a slight slickness. Overall a quaffable brew and worth trying again but wished the hop profile was a bit more assertive.

On tap at Figure 8, Valparaiso. Aroma:Pretty mild, a little citrus. Mild grapefruity hops. Appearance:Pale yellow in color. Taste:Grapefruit and bitter hops in the foretaste, underlied by a mild pleasant sweetness. Lots of nice malt on the aftertaste. Palate:Nicely carbonated. Overall:A very pleasant IPA.

Draft. Poured a clear golden color with an average off-white frothy head that mostly lasted and produced good lacing. Moderate hop and toasted malt aroma. Medium body with a slick texture and soft carbonation. Medium balanced flavor with a medium smooth bitter finish of moderate duration. Good drinkable brew.
