Pale gold. No shelf life - youíve really got to find the stores that turn this over. At its best, Fiji Bitter is bland, and has little character. Yes, that is what it aspires to, because otherwise itís papery. You wonít really ever find much malt or hop or any of that stuff, but it wins for having fewer overt flaws that the other Fijian beers.

A very ordinary beer but it tastes good when you're sitting in the pool drinking it. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours a clear light yellow color with a small white head that fades to bits of lacing. Aroma is a bit musty, with some malt sweetness and some grain. taste has some hops crispness, malt sweetness and a bit of grain. Mild bitterness and has a fairly clean finish. Light body, a bit crisp and refreshing. Not a lot here. Beer that goes well with hot, humid weather.

22/VIII/2012 375ml bottle @ home - Brewed: 28/12/11, BB: 23/IX/12 (2012-959) Thanks to Thomas and Annelies for the bottle!

Clear blond beer, small aery white head, pretty stable, adhesive. Aroma: pretty nutty, some caramel, bit herbal. Mf: ok carbon, medium body, smooth texture. Taste: pretty malty, citric hops, herbal. Aftertaste: nice clean crisp bitterness, some citrus, hint of malts. Definitely not the worst beer ever, surprised at the low ratings. Maybe I was thirsty? :p

A-- poured a clear copper color. Small white head. With swirling get a half finger of head. Some visible carbonation and soapy lacing with the beer. S-- Grassy, vegetables, slightly metallic, and touches of bread. T-- Some skunky hop presence (POR I am assuming), grassy, stewed vegetables and a funky metallic taste. M-- Bitterness comes from a strange metallic taste. Warmer it gets the more obvious it becomes. Metal and plastic. Some bread in mouth. O-- Can is the better way to taste this. Saw a lot of FB on uncovered trucks in Suva. Highly prone to skunking in bottle format. Taste format is almost the same to VB, also made by CUB. Is it bad? Yeah but on a beach or in a hammock and it is in the 90ís and high humidity are you really going to want an Abacus? Some reason it works here. Then again, it is Fiji time.

Middle of the road. A little bland. Some good, some bitter but no balance. Nice on a beach in SUVs though

Not as bad as I had thought. Some hop, bread and cereal notes. A bit thin.

Bottle (thanks bro). Pours pale yellow with a white soapy head that fades to a spotty film. Aroma grass malt and slightly skunky. Taste is more grass malt and funk. Palate is thin crisp and dry. Brother brought this back from Fiji for me to try.

Slightly off-golden coloured body with a nice white head. Aroma of dry malt, a touch of light sugars, some very mild hops and a good dry finish. Light-bodied; Fresh malt flavours with a little sweetness, a decent amount of carbonation and a suprisingly amount of hops (good) that show some actual complexity and flavour. Aftertaste is relatively light with a touch of hops, some mild sugars, a little alcohol and some nice malt. Overall, a surprisingly nice beer and my go-to beer when in Fiji. I sampled at least 20 of these 375 mL stubby bottles at the Octopus Resort on Waya Island (Yasawa Chain) in Fiji on 15-20 August 2009 on my honeymoon.
