1.5 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 5/20 joet (1876) - Fulton, USA - MAY 8, 2008
Perceived sweetness but still dry. More bitterness than expected -- dusty, herbal, viney. Worty. A bit of caramel like malzbier. Not bad. Some body as well.

Not as bad as I had thought. Some hop, bread and cereal notes.
A bit thin.
2.4 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20 portableparty (1190) - Blaine, Minnesota, USA - SEP 29, 2011
Bottle (thanks bro). Pours pale yellow with a white soapy head that fades to a spotty film. Aroma grass malt and slightly skunky. Taste is more grass malt and funk. Palate is thin crisp and dry. Brother brought this back from Fiji for me to try.
2.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20 jgb9348 (3495) - Arlington (Pentagon City), Virginia, USA - SEP 12, 2011
Slightly off-golden coloured body with a nice white head. Aroma of dry malt, a touch of light sugars, some very mild hops and a good dry finish. Light-bodied; Fresh malt flavours with a little sweetness, a decent amount of carbonation and a suprisingly amount of hops (good) that show some actual complexity and flavour. Aftertaste is relatively light with a touch of hops, some mild sugars, a little alcohol and some nice malt. Overall, a surprisingly nice beer and my go-to beer when in Fiji. I sampled at least 20 of these 375 mL stubby bottles at the Octopus Resort on Waya Island (Yasawa Chain) in Fiji on 15-20 August 2009 on my honeymoon.
1.6 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 5/20 allanbowers (47) - melbourne, AUSTRALIA - SEP 6, 2011
mass market fiji beer made by the (good) people of fosters. This is a bland brew that is fine to quench your thirst in the heat though not the greatest taste you can get. Saying that this is really cheap everywhere you go.
2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 mkel07 (1811) - Brisbane, AUSTRALIA - JUN 25, 2011
375ml can. This beer is everywhere in Fiji. Quite good colour for a pale lager , a little cloudy with a white foam cap. Grain and cereal in the aroma , no surprises there. Some sweetness in the mouth and a moderate level of bitterness.
2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 10/20 Koelschtrinker (7060) - Köln (Cologne), North Rhine-Westphalia, GERMANY - JUN 16, 2011

1.9 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20 jarow (237) - Massachusetts, USA - APR 7, 2011
Bottle. Golden yellow pour with a white head. Nose is sweet with corn and cereal. Body is a step above most pale lagers - not as watery. Mild bitterness with some bread and grain flavor. Finish is medium length and slightly bitter.
2.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20 Dudar (101) - Minsk, BELARUS - FEB 6, 2011
golden lager, small head. grain and corn in the nose and taste, light body, inoffensive bitterness, grassy hops. Strangely enough enjoyable, maybe because Fiji was so damn hot!
2.3 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20 janegberman (3) - New Jersey, USA - DEC 7, 2009 does not count
Reminded me a lot of VB. Was the go to beer in Fiji. I bought the shirt, so the beer has some nostalgia for me.

Old school stubbie! Pours a deep brassy gold with a foamy white head that leaves some lace. Sweet corn syrup cereal aroma. Sweet corny grainy flavour with a dry pithy bitterness in the finish. Enjoyed in gorgeous fiji, which adds a point or two! Of all the lagers available in fiji (5 that I found, if you count the newly discovered fiji draught), this was the best IMO.
