A light beer, golden color with a small foam head, the bitterness of hops aren’t felt, this is the one I less enjoyed of the Fijian beers I’d tried.

One of the favorites in the country :-) Not really a beer expert, but am very particular when it comes to taste, appearance and the after effects. This beer is comes in the ugly ancient-looking bottles, just like fiji bitter and the new taki beer! Other than that, it’s nice beer

12oz bottle. Rating #25. Crystal clear golden pour with a white head. Sweet malt and corn aroma, not to pleasant. Flavor was similar, more corn and malt with a slight bitterness. Glad to have tried it, not something I need to try again. (2196)

Clear golden coloured body with a slightly deeper orangish hue. Aroma of light malt, a touch of very light hops and a more grassy and herbal note. Light-bodied; Assertive malty flavour with a very mild subdued earthy and floral taste, almost no hops at all to speak of and some very mild alcohol notes. Aftertaste is mild and not showing much aside from a touch of light malt. Overall, a subdued beer and showing quite a bit less complexity than Fiji Bitter. I sampled a few of these 375 mL stubby bottles at the Octopus Resort on Waya Island (Yasawa Chain) in Fiji on 15-20 August 2009 on my honeymoon.

mass market fizzy lager from Fiji. The fact that Fosters are behind this should give you an idea of how bland this tastes. In its native Fiji this is dirt cheap.

375ml can. Golden amber colour with a soft white head, clear and waht you expect from a pale lager. Grainy aroma is not much to get excited about while the flavor is not too bad, sweet and malty.

Test vom 25.4.2006, Gebinde: Dose Noten: 6,7,12,6,7,7 - 7,50

Bottle. Golden pour with a white head. Everything is similar to Fiji Bitter, but weaker/watered down. Closer to a standard mass produced pale lager.

Bottle, enjoyed in Fiji. This is a weird little beer, marketed as less filling, lower calories but still full strength and full flavoured. Sounds like an ad for Miller Lite from the 1980’s. Anyway, this beer has less bitter hop character and less sweet cereal malt flavour than both Fiji Bitters (export and regular). Very boring, and closer to a mainstream North American macro lager than the other Fijian lagers.
