2.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
750ml bottle light aroma is grains grass malt, taste is standard pale lager, bit more watery than some, sweetish, more malty than hops, finishes quite dry, very drinkable on a hot Fijian day I imagine

Not quite as crisp of a color--a bit straw like, less golden and luminescent. More clinging white head. More skunk than other Fiji lagers, but still light in that regard. Less appealing flavors, though not especially harsh. Bottle.

2.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
12oz can from a vacation co-worker who was able to get me a (second) Fiji tick. Shared.
A: Gushy head, orange-straw. Head turns into a thin white trail.
N: Dough, cracker, pineapple, pine, biscuits ,grains, and grapes.
T: Sweet dough, a tiny amount of bitterness, and some unexpected sourness.
M: Oily with a medium body. Bigger than Iíd expect for the style.
O: Mediocre at best, but Iíd rather have the bitter if I was sitting in Fiji.

12 ounce can thanks to Luke. Pours a clear copper color with a medium white head. Grainy light fruity nose. The flavor is doughy, light almost sour straw, some sweeter fruit, basically a grainy earthy lager. OK. Fiji tick! Hell yes.

A light beer, golden color with a small foam head, the bitterness of hops arenít felt, this is the one I less enjoyed of the Fijian beers Iíd tried.

One of the favorites in the country :-) Not really a beer expert, but am very particular when it comes to taste, appearance and the after effects. This beer is comes in the ugly ancient-looking bottles, just like fiji bitter and the new taki beer! Other than that, itís nice beer

1.7 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20
12oz bottle. Rating #25. Crystal clear golden pour with a white head. Sweet malt and corn aroma, not to pleasant. Flavor was similar, more corn and malt with a slight bitterness. Glad to have tried it, not something I need to try again. (2196)

1.8 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
Clear golden coloured body with a slightly deeper orangish hue. Aroma of light malt, a touch of very light hops and a more grassy and herbal note. Light-bodied; Assertive malty flavour with a very mild subdued earthy and floral taste, almost no hops at all to speak of and some very mild alcohol notes. Aftertaste is mild and not showing much aside from a touch of light malt. Overall, a subdued beer and showing quite a bit less complexity than Fiji Bitter. I sampled a few of these 375 mL stubby bottles at the Octopus Resort on Waya Island (Yasawa Chain) in Fiji on 15-20 August 2009 on my honeymoon.

mass market fizzy lager from Fiji. The fact that Fosters are behind this should give you an idea of how bland this tastes. In its native Fiji this is dirt cheap.
