3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Poured into a pint glass out of a 22oz bottle.
Pours a slightly hazy light straw yellow with a fizzy one finger white head. Not very good head retention fading to just a thin cap over the beer.
Aroma of pale light bread along with some grass and flowers. A touch of corn and vegetables.
Hay and corn in the flavor along with a touch of floral sweetness. Crisp, light mouthfeel with just a light bitterness in the finish.
Overall, it is what it is, a Mexican lager but one that works quite well. A good beer.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Draft on tap at Oak Park Microbrew Review 2013 (Oak Park, IL). Pours a pale straw hue, gentle haziness, lively carbonation. Frothy bright white head atop stays as a mellow film, laces ok. Aromas are crisp grain, straw, gentle earthiness, with a kiss of spice. Clean and mellow sweetness. Initial is lighter end of the fold, touch of graininess, mellow bread, subtle citrus rind. Dry, a bit grassy. Some florals show a touch of sweetness into the middle. A bit grainy, some maize, gentle citrus and lively florals. Backend is crisp, grainy, and some gentle maize influence. Corn. Finish is dry, a bit yeasty. Nice beer. Itís exactly what it advertised itself as. Itís unapologetic and for those that dig this stuff, it works. Nice.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Slightly cloudy yellow, nice sized white head. Smells corny, grassy, with a touch of hops. Taste is corny, grassy, as well, with a hop finish. Actually kind of refreshing.
