3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
Rich malty hoppy aroma that’s complex in nature. Solid bitterness supports the malt backbone, strong pale ale.

3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
A golden pale ale with notes of light caramel and citrus hops. Fairly basic recipe, but a tasty one. Fresh and hoppy, but not too bitter for the style. It’s a relatively light beer, but not too weak.

4.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
Up there in my top favorite pale ales of all time. Incredibly well rounded with both malts and hops. The Threadless is still my favorite Finch’s brew but this one is a very close second. Finishes very clean with a mild hop presence. Color is dark orange and pours with a generous off white head like an american pale should look. I’m a fan.

4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Pretty nice on a the nose. Floral, citrus and resin dominate with grass, earthy undertones. This pale ale is versatile, because it doesn’t pack a crazy hop punch. Pretty good.

Sampled from a 16 oz can this beer poured a caramel-amber color with a medium sized foamy white head that left decent lacing. The aroma was sweet pine, grapefruit and a bit of catbox. The flavor was somewhat harsh and bitter pine, catbox and lemon. Medium length finish of pine and lemon. Medium body. Solid.
