Yes first rate, suck on that Adam!! Pours dull amber white head. Nose grain husk, caramel. Flavor has a generic spicy Belgian yeast with no hop character, grainy and pretty gross.

Draft at Acre. Pours a hazy gold with orange at the edge. Nose is really grape oriented, light pepper esters as well. Weird boozy note. Fusel? On tasting the grapes are really present again. Not very robust hop profile and yeast is quite strange. Grapes are jUst too distracting. Malty backbone. Far from my favorite in the subpar 2011 replicales...

I had this on tap at Farmhouse in Chicago, IL; was told by the bartender that I should get a different Finch’s beer instead of this one...and I agree now. It’s not that this is a bad brew, it is what it is (Belgian session ale). I didn’t take tasting notes so I can’t remember every detail about this one, but it was drinkable but left sour notes and had some off flavors. Finch’s is good stuff, this stuff isn’t the greatest though, just average.

Sampled on tap at Goose Belgian Fest (Chicago, IL). Pours a well hazed amber pour, touches of golden glow with a frothy offwhite head that sits atop. Laces ok, bigger film overall. Aromas are. Bit sticky with bready malts, touches of fruit, apple, bubblegum. Some dry florals and grass, faint spice. Initial is dry and lighter bodied up front. Touches of phenols and bubblegum, dry hops, touches of dry and sweet punch in and out. Packs some decent flavors for a 4.8 beer. Into the backend, dry and crisp breadiness, some touches of fruit, light earthy hops. Maybe a light bready yeast spice, but not all that Belgian. Nice lighter and sessionable Belgian. Ok. Lacking some great character.
