Ah hell I'm in Chicago so I might as well try Finch's Threadless IPA while at Jake Melnicks (get the wings!). It's probably more citrusy than I usually like, but the hoppiness balanced it out nicely. All in all a solid IPA... Reminds me a lot of Sweetwater IPA.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Can: The aroma consists of caramel, fruit, and light grapefruit. It pours a hazy amber with some sediment floating around. It has a two finger orange tinged off-white head that has very good retention and leaves some nice lacing rings. The flavor starts with some sweet citrus and caramel. The finish has light-moderate grapefruit and a hint of toasted notes. Itís medium bodied with mild carbonation and a somewhat soft mouthfeel. Overall, I generally donít score IPAs with caramel notes highly. I didnít really score this high, but the caramel notes in this IPA didnít bother me as much as they usually do.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
1 Pint can: Aroma has got a big hop note to it. Big on the citrus (grapefruit) and resin notes. Appearance is a clear golden with a hint of amber and a thick off white head that lingers. Taste is pretty good stuff a little too resin like and a bit sticky in the mouth, but all around not that bad at all. Palate is sticky in the mouth and a lingering bitter aftertaste with the slightest amount of grapefruit lingering. Overall, Itís good stuff. I could dink another of these. Cheers!

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Pours an hazy amber reddish color. Nose is citrus and pine, with a tangerine and peach nose predominating, quite pleasant nose. Taste is all citrus with very heavy bitterness at first than settles down quite delightfully. Finish is moderately long with some sweetness. Nice ! Quaff Score 8 / 10

3.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
This draft brew from a beer festival poured a small sized head of fine to medium sized white colored bubbles that were and left behind a hazy yellow orange colored body. The aroma was mild hop. The mouth feel was tingly at the start and at the finish. The nice flavor contained notes of hops. Delicious and one I would certainly like to have again.
