4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20 pablo951 (139) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - JAN 6, 2013
I had it out of a can, it pours nicely with a thick frothy head that laces evenly. The aroma is pungent at first with notes hops, citrus, and pine. The taste is very hoppy, again with notes of citrus and pine. Good IPA.

can. to be honest, I have no idea of it’s color/appearance - I went straight from the can. Very solid IPA - smooth, yet hoppy. Super easy to drink. Liked it.
3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 Silphium (2969) - East Lansing, Michigan, USA - DEC 12, 2012
Draft at Taps 25, Lansing. Hazy, dirty medium orange body, thick puffy cream head. Piny nose; also citrus rind. Sweet, citrusy body, with strong tangerine/orange notes (including pulp and rind), almost candied. Fair bitterness, just enough to balance the citrus sweetness. Solid body, well-balanced and crisp. Good IPA.

Nice color amber red. Nice spicy hops. A little thin on the palate. Not sure if the carbonation level is right. The malts are outshone by the hops as well. Not well balanced. Good beer not great.

4.4 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 16/20 pottygok (346) - Ohio, USA - DEC 6, 2012
Aroma: Floral and citrus hops with hints of spruce at the edges.
Appearance: Clear pale gold with a rich, white head.
Taste: Immediate medium bitterness with a light sourness in the finish.
Palate: Medium-full body, sticky texture, lively carbonation, long finish.
Overall: Pretty typical IPA. I’m not undone, but I’m not disappointed, either. A fairly solid, well developed beer.
3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 DrSilverworm (2702) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - NOV 27, 2012
1 pint can. Quite a full can. Hazy orange color. Good thick off-white head. Leaves good lace. Good smooth texture. Lighter carbonation. Medium body. Texture is more dry, but not too dry. Really nice fruity hoppy flavor. Light pine. Bigger citrus (orange). Light pepperiness. Good bitter taste, good citrus peel zest. Yup, this is a great IPA. Especially impressive flavor for the lower ABV.
