COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our Threadless/Finch collaboration IPA is a balanced experience of both perceived hoppiness and true bitterness. It pours a darker amber color and finishes with a citrus flavor, and when combined, will require this to be the last IPA you ever drink! Well, maybe, we realize you will probably drink more, but the result of this recipe clearly evolves into a very balanced IPA. The grain bill on this big pale includes melanoidin and Victory malts. We hop it up before the boil starts with some Columbus first wort hopping, then add a bunch more for bittering.

Pours hazy amber with a medium white head. Aroma is citrus, toast and floral. Taste is medium bitters and a touch of sweetness, the citrus shines through. Light to medium bodied with a smooth texture and crisp finish. Very refreshing and great at only 6% to drink a few.

16oz can. Pours a very hazy golden amber qith a white head. Another below average for the style brew from Finch’s. Watery mouthfeel. Some slight pine and apricot notes, enough to make it drinkable but nothing great here.

Can 500ml. Pours sligthly hazy golden with low white head. Good lacing. Aroma is of citrus, fruits, malt, pine. Taste is of pine, resin, malt, fruits, flowers, bitterness. Some tropical stuff. Harsh bitterness. Palate: ligth-medium body. Overall: Good IPA. Not outstanding, but fair.

Pours a darkish amber color with a small head. Big hoppy citrus nose with some caramel malt. Also getting some pine. Taste has a solid bitterness and a nice taste. Lots of orange citrus. Nice lasting finish that is refreshing. A really good ipa. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

16 oz can. Pours a very murky golden orange with hop particles, thick off white head, and fantastic lacing. Nose is mostly caramel malt with a little piney and muted citrus hops. The hops come through more with the taste. PIneapple, citrus, pine. Real strong bitterness, borderline palate wrecker.

Draft. Pours a hazy amber with medium off white head. Nose is citrus, orange, grapefruit and some light pale malts. Flavor is light citrus of more orange and grapefruit, and light maltiness. Good carbonation and medium body. Good standard IPA. No complaints.

Poured into a perfect pint. 3.5 A: Murky dark yellow brown color. Just one finger of frothy off-white head. Retention is about average and a decent amount of lacing is left. 4.0 S: Supremely floral and citrusy. Papaya leads the way followed by mango and orange. Bready yeastiness, mild neutral malt sweetness, and just the slightest touch of caramel. 3.5 T: Taste is like the nose. Floral and citrus hops with the fruits mentioned above. Lots of yeastiness, mild neutral maltiness, mild bitterness, and a touch of caramel. 3.5 M: Medium to heavier medium body. Good moderate carbonation. Lightly creamy with chewiness from the yeast. 3.5 D: Tasty, well rounded IPA. Lots of yeast, but it isn’t too distracting. Serving type: can 10-11-2012 04:19:58

16 oz can. Pours orange with a one finger white head. Minor lace. Aroma is orange zest & pine. Orange & pine is repeated in the flavor. Around the middle of the glass you pick up some biscuit flavor. Medium bodied with a soft easy to drink palate. New to New Hampshire & I’ll have to check out some of their other brews.

Resinous tropical and grapefruit aromas. Hazy orange unfiltered appearance. Bitter up front, mellows out to a sweeter finish. Mainly bitter nonetheless. Medium body, seems kind of flat relative to its overall profile. Not an IPA I was thrilled with.
