COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our Threadless/Finch collaboration IPA is a balanced experience of both perceived hoppiness and true bitterness. It pours a darker amber color and finishes with a citrus flavor, and when combined, will require this to be the last IPA you ever drink! Well, maybe, we realize you will probably drink more, but the result of this recipe clearly evolves into a very balanced IPA. The grain bill on this big pale includes melanoidin and Victory malts. We hop it up before the boil starts with some Columbus first wort hopping, then add a bunch more for bittering.

Pounder->SA. Hazy orange with small white head. A: sweet fruity hops. T: sweet hops, citrus, orange, pineapple. Bittersweet aftertaste. Sweetness and depth of an imperial IPA, though not a great one.

I had this on tap at the Blind Robin in Chicago, IL after going to the 3 Floyds Brewpub with some good friends. I didnít like this at all. It was too sweet, especially in the caramel malt department, and the only reason why I ordered this was because it was the only beer I havenít rated at the bar and I wanted to try it. I canít say Iím a fan of the clothing company, and Iím really not a fan of this beer. Threadless, I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.

Pours an hazy amber reddish color. Nose is citrus and pine, with a tangerine and peach nose predominating, quite pleasant nose. Taste is all citrus with very heavy bitterness at first than settles down quite delightfully. Finish is moderately long with some sweetness. Nice ! Quaff Score 8 / 10

Can.
Appearance: Murky orange/amber body with no head.
Aroma: Grassy, slightly earthy, some orange.
Taste: Odd grassy/orange pith flavor with a grassy, herbal and sweet orange finish. Malts are noticed adding sweetness.
Palate: Medium bodied, mildly carbonated.
Overall: Not sure what to think of this. I can drink it, but I donít enjoy it.

Resinous tropical and grapefruit aromas. Hazy orange unfiltered appearance. Bitter up front, mellows out to a sweeter finish. Mainly bitter nonetheless. Medium body, seems kind of flat relative to its overall profile. Not an IPA I was thrilled with.

Sampled at 2012 Indianapolis Brew Ha Ha. A really good IPA. Sweet malts is balanced and paired with the hops very well. Smooth with a little bite. Well put together.

Poured into a perfect pint. 3.5 A: Murky dark yellow brown color. Just one finger of frothy off-white head. Retention is about average and a decent amount of lacing is left. 4.0 S: Supremely floral and citrusy. Papaya leads the way followed by mango and orange. Bready yeastiness, mild neutral malt sweetness, and just the slightest touch of caramel. 3.5 T: Taste is like the nose. Floral and citrus hops with the fruits mentioned above. Lots of yeastiness, mild neutral maltiness, mild bitterness, and a touch of caramel. 3.5 M: Medium to heavier medium body. Good moderate carbonation. Lightly creamy with chewiness from the yeast. 3.5 D: Tasty, well rounded IPA. Lots of yeast, but it isnít too distracting. Serving type: can 10-11-2012 04:19:58

22oz bottle pours a hazy golden/amber with a small off-white head. Aroma of caramel malts, grain, citrus, pine, and tropical. Taste of resinous pine balanced pretty well with nice malt and grain. Pretty Nice!
