COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our Threadless/Finch collaboration IPA is a balanced experience of both perceived hoppiness and true bitterness. It pours a darker amber color and finishes with a citrus flavor, and when combined, will require this to be the last IPA you ever drink! Well, maybe, we realize you will probably drink more, but the result of this recipe clearly evolves into a very balanced IPA. The grain bill on this big pale includes melanoidin and Victory malts. We hop it up before the boil starts with some Columbus first wort hopping, then add a bunch more for bittering.

Nice hazy orange pour with a solid, lingering off-white head. Aroma of honey, orange rind and resin. Really nice flavor. The way that the honey-like malt sweetness/resin balance out early on is really well done. A nice clean citrus finish follows. Tasty, very drinkable IPA.

On Tap @ Balzac - Reddish amber, slightly cloudy, pillowy head. Aromas of grapefruit and orange citrus, along with baked bread maltiness. Mouthful has some real substance from the malt wrapped in a well balanced citrusy hop cloak. Very drinkable, satisfying and somewhat unique profile.

Can at Wildfire Beer Dinner. Pours a hazy deep orangey-straw color with a medium white head, decent retention and lacing. Aroma is citrusy hops and some malt. Mouth is medium-bodied, decent balance of malt and hops, but not as adventurous in the hoppy side as I like in my IPAs. Still, with a long bitter finish and no real character flaws, it is certainly drinkable.

can - Pours cloudy yellow with a small off-white, lingering head that laces well. The aroma is of citrus hops and a slight herbal character. The flavor has good bitterness with a little citrus and an earthy note. It’s medium bodied and overall a solid IPA.

Can. The pour is a bright orange murky color. The aroma is faint on the hops. The taste has a decent amount of bitterness, but drinks well. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours a light copper, hazy, almost white head, no lacing. Nice citrusy aroma, very prominent. Flavor is a nice balance of caramel maltiness and pungent hoppiness. I get predominantly orange from the hop flavor, fading into grapefruit on the finish. The palate is just right, not too thin, not too thick. I thoroughly enjoyed this beer.

1 pint can courtesy of agl108. A hazy rust pour with a thick and creamy antique white head. Lots of pine, grapefruits, oranges, citrus rinds, and caramel in the aroma. A sizable roasty maltiness comes out as things warm up a bit. Goes down medium to full-bodied. Loads of sweet caramel maltiness upfront taste-wise that only intensifies as things warm up. There is a big earthy graininess in the middle. Some citrus rinds and grapefruits at the bitter end. A well-balanced IPA.

Very bitter IPA. More true bitterness than a floral hop aroma and taste. But pleasent. Semi cloudy. On draft in Memphis tying saucer.

On tap at Sharp Edge Beer Emporium. Pours a clear orange with a thin white head. Aroma of sweet malt, light acetone, citrus, grassy hops. Flavor is sweet with a sharp hops kick in the finish. A little sweet for an IPA. 6/4/6/4/13 (3.3/5)
