3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Aroma of Pineapple, caramel, a little bit...minty? Lightly sweet flavor, modest bitterness on the finish, taste isn’t exactly world-shattering but a solid all-around IPA flavor. Good beer, most notable for being extremely cloudy with lots of floating sediment.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
This was poured into a nonic pint glass.
The appearance was a hazy bronzed orange color with a one and a half finger white foamy head that dissipated within less than a minute leaving some messy lacing.
The smell had a sharp sweet to bitter citrus blend coursing it’s way between bittersweet pine. A nice caramel malt backbone graces underneath.
The taste was balanced between the sweet citrus and bitter pine and levels out to the malt backbone nicely. A nice balanced citrus sweetness to pine aftertaste leads to a semi-dry citrus finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a wonderful sessionability about it. The carbonation seemed good for the style and for me. Bitterness seemed balanced as well to have a nice harshness against my tongue.
Overall, this was a really nice fairly crushable AIPA that I would love to have again and possibly even just drink from the can on a hot Summer’s day.

A hazed golden ipa with a thin lacing off white head. In aroma, nice biscuit malt with loads of c-hops, floral and resinous, grapefruit pulp, nice and classic. In mouth, a nice biscuit malt with piney and resinous floral hops, grapefruit pulp, nice and quaffable, yet complex and resinous. On tap at Range, Chicago.

Draught @ Barleycorn. Hazy orange with small off-white spongy head, faint hops aroma, low carbonation, lightly hoppy yaste, medium finish. Easy to drink, very smooth

Crisp and clean. Nice herbaceous quality to the hops, though citrus notes dominate. Relatively light and refreshing.

This is one of those IPAs that use a signature malt platform, and then let it take over.

3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Draft pour. Pours a hazed copper with a white head of foamm. The aroma is papery, it has lemon, angel food cake, some lime. The taste is moderately sweet. No real bitterness. Medium to low bitterness. Kind of a shitty ipa, but I guess if it is old, the beer can’t be held accountable. It just really is not very good.

4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
Orange hued cloudy body supporting an above average head. Bracingly fresh taste perfumed with grapefruit notes. A fruitier interpretation rather than bitter leaves a tangy aftertaste. Very enjoyable.

4.2 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Finch’s Threadless IPA has a medium, creamy, off-white head, an opaque, gold-orange appearance, some noticeable, clinging bubbles, and lacing, top to bottom. Aroma is of flowers, nectar, hop oil, and white bread. Flavor is of sweet, white bread, not so bitter hop bitterness, sugar, and pine oil. Mouthfeel is medium to heavy, and Finch’s Threadless IPA finishes on the dry side and quite drinkable. RJT

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Rated on 01-04-2013 (Can) This beer pours a medium sized smooth off-white head that mostly diminishes, mostly transparent/slightly hazy golden body, slow rising carbonation, and spotty amounts of lacing. The aroma is citrus, earthy hops, fruity, and malt. The flavor is bitter, citrus, earthy hops and malt. The mouthfeel is semi-thick and this beer is medium bodied. This beer has a lingering hoppy aftertaste and is a hop head beer. It is worth trying.
